I felt this veterinary practice was sympathetic and caring. We didn't have a good outcome for our pet but they have us a while in a quiet room and let us out through a private door so we didn't have to go past other people.

I would like like to compliment clanrye vets on the fantastic service that myself and my dog (Bella) received yesterday. From the moment we went in and spoke with the receptionist (Orla) to the treatment Bella received from the lady vet I am beyond words. Bella is usually a drama queen and doesn’t go down without a fight, but it was like having a completely different dog (don’t get me wrong, when she first went in, you would have thought she was going to get her head chopped off, as she was so stressed and shaking) but within about ten minutes she sat so calm that I simply couldn’t believe it. She went quietly into the treatment room, had her treatment and brought back out to me. Paperwork and passport filled in without Bella having to endure being away from me stressing. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again. Off now on hols Thank you and keep up the good work guys.

We love Clanrye vets, the service from the vets has always been stellar but I have to say the two receptionists, the older black haired one and the smaller blonde one with glasses are 2 of the most unpleasant, dismissive and downright rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. They are completely in the wrong job and should not be front of house. They will ignore you when you walk in, continuing to stare at their computer until you’ve stood there waiting to be acknowledged. Monosyllabic and curt they completely let this wonderful surgery down.

Horrendous with animals, won't let you inside when treating and we saw why today when we had to help the vet (having to help a trained professional take a sample should say enough on its own!!) They throw the animals around like furniture and have absolutely no care for what they are doing, no softness or warmth and they will leave an animal that has arrived under EMERGENCY circumstances in the waiting room while they stood around talking and laughing, we actually had to remind them this was an emergency and the animal needed treatment and they said "oh yeah!". It would be comical if it wasn't so embarrassingly awful. Steer absolutely clear.

I rang this evening 22.50.hrs and because my very sick dog was not registered with these vets the receptionist said they would not treat. Her. The receptionist was rude with no people skills, and when I was giving feedback she became defensive. I Rang parklands on Dungannon and got 5 star treatment. Maybe good if Ur registered but if not ring parklands What vet would leave a dog to suffer all night

Vet was very nice and took her time explaining everything. HOWEVER, the reception staff really let this place down, they are the most ignorant staff I've come across. They have a terrible attitude when you call them on the phone AND in person. Also, the measure that you aren't allowed into the waiting room and have to stand outside is crazy. I've heard other people complain of standing outside in horrendous weather or the bitter cold, now in this hot sun, its just as bad. All other vets and clinics are allowing patients to come inside and wait, why can't you?

I have been with this vet over twenty years, and multiple pets. Today we had an appointment for 2pm and arrived on time. The door had a sign (due to C19) that you should wait outside until reception let you in, all fine so far, I fully understand. The receptionist opened the door five minutes later and told us that they would let the vet know we were waiting, closed and locked the door and we remained outside. Two things to note, the surgery waiting room was completely empty and it is December and bitterly cold outside for both humans and animals. A further ten minutes went by and I knocked the door to get attention from the receptionist who ignored me, got up and walked off into a back room. At this point we decided to leave as the cold was unbearable and reception was not responding. As we were leaving a vet opened the door and we explained that we were leaving. We told her why and she said that nobody had told her we were there. I don't mind waiting but not in the freezing cold. Incredibly poor show, won't be back,a real shame that they couldn't organise things better and covid is no excuse for reception to ignore people.

Took my 17 year old dog to be put down. Arrived at 9.20 without an appointment and was told I'd have to wait until 10.10am until others with appointments were seen. The vet was ready at 10.20. I sat in the waiting room obviously upset whilst the dog lay in the boot of the car. 5 minutes did the job. I'm sure if the vet had asked the other pet owners, they would have allowed me to go before them. I'm only glad it wasn't an older person, living on there own, grieving for their only company. Maybe vets could put into place a policy were pet owners who need their pet put down have special treatment rather than leaving them to publicly grieve for an unnecessary time.
