   Avoid like the plague! Disgusted with this practice allowing a dog to suffer because his medical history isn't available from his previous vet because that vet had a stroke and the practice no longer exists. I explained the dog has no medical history only innoculations and chipping but my word wasn't good enough insisting I get records proving this from a practice I told the uncaring receptionist no longer exists. By pass this place if you really care for your pet, they're happy to leave an animal in pain asking for the impossible, doesn't suggest animal lovers or carers to me. Disgusted.

   Changed to this vet after an awful experience with another local vet and only have amazing things to say. My puppy is incredibly nervous and anxious but this surgery is amazing with her, I am always anxious bringing my dogs to the vet after my aforementioned experience but I am so so glad I chose this vet for my family. Great staff

   Took my dog down Saturday morning as she was in labour abd struggling, David was there waiting for us and he was amazing, he treated both Riley, myself and my daughter in law with so much kindness and put my mind at ease completely that Riley was in safe hands. I didn't get the name of the lady vet/nurse but she was equally as welcoming and kind as David. I would highly recommend David he is a fantastic vet, he saved my dogs life as she was moments away from a uterus rupture and her puppy, he gave lots of after care advice and not to hesitate to call if I had any questions. I really couldn't fault him at all the service was top class.

   I phoned, to get cat neutered, was told to ring back ,week later ,and again another week later which I did as they keep telling me, because of restrictions they could not see the cat,which I think is silly as my cat cant have covid.my cat had kittens and she's in heat dont want her to get more so asked, so she just need to get kittens and kittens then;,just keep her inside;. She told me,Yeah right like that works with a cat !,as soon as door opens she runs past me outside. Was told by ANCU ,that all other vetinary places would be same and can only do emergency procedures, asked her ,what about there practice in Dundalk as it's the south maybe different restrictions?,;no,the dont accept clients;was reply I rang next day a different vet in Newry and guess what ,the receptionist was friendly and told me no problem at all so made my appointment there,and my parents who just got a dog also are getting there dog chipped ,vaccinated and whatever else. So no ! can not recommend ANCU at all !

   Very helpful staff. Reasonably priced. Was even able to get same day appointment in a short notice. Update! Not as great as they used to be. Wasn't let in for not wearing a mask, which is against the law!!! He wouldn't even listen that I have medical exceptions!
