   I use Ultimate Taxis on a regular basis, to provide cars to take managers mostly to train stations to allow them to travel to London and other cities to attend meetings, therefore, timing is imperative. Ultimate have always been on time, regular communication and an extremely competitive price. They are friendly and professional at all times and have never let us down. Highly recommended.

   I can’t remember my drivers name, but after a horrible experience with another service just days before… he was a breath of fresh air! He was very kind, sweet and talkative and eased my anxiety a lot. He gave me lovely tips on drink and food, told my I must’ve passed the exam I just took (which honestly- it was just nice to hear and he didn’t have to be so kind about it) and for an American in the UK- it was nice to one meet another foreigner and two- be readily accepted. The drive was safe, but got me to my destination with lots of time to spare. Car was clean and very nice. He took my bag with ease in and out of the car. I would recommend this taxi company over any other just because he was a lovely man, the call center was nice, collected and fast. No clicking buttons or robots. Easy to understand and get through. He even gave me multiple options to pay and we were done in seconds- which is important for someone in a rush!

   Low start rateing due to first car sent me he wouldn't accept my 2 year old to sit on my lap after was told it was ok but if he would of spoke to me I would have understood but instead took my pram out got in car and drove off I then had call them back and they had to send another car the second driver was amazing and mad kids day with music on way thank you to him

   generally faster and cheaper than go carz, but during the nights when students are going out it is hard to get a taxi. additionally, if booking in advance you need to be ready 15 minutes before you wanted it, once i booked one for 11:30pm, it came at 11:15 and the driver refused to wait past 11:20 and drove off with half the passengers missing which was really annoying. Otherwise, it is very quick and easy to get cars and the drivers are good

   Very poor service. Had to phone numerous times to get an answer. They didn’t reply to the email request and the taxi I prebooked and paid for didn’t show up. Left me waiting at the airport at 1am with no one calling to explain. No contact information to be able to get through to anyone. Not the professional company they seemed

   Used this taxi service to get to & from a wedding recently. It was a great service. I had pre-booked a taxi to & from the wedding venue with given times. However we wanted to come away from the wedding earlier than planned & following a phone to Ultimate a taxi was sent out quite quickly. The price had already been agreed. However Ultimate adjusted & lowered the cost to take into account the earlier time & only a car was required not a people carrier, despite us offering to pay the original quote. What great customer service. The drivers were also really nice people. If we are ever in the Newport area again & require a taxi it will definitely be Ultimate taxis we use.
