   Very friendly and helpful customer services. Arthur wright bushcraft knife arrived in a timely fashion. Item was very well and neatly packaged with a good amount of internal packaging as well. The knife itself is a lovely knife: very sharp edge, nice weight to it and well balanced, excellent fit and finish with a stylish real leather sheath to accompany. I have just used it to shave some pistachio nuts and parmisan cheese - did a great job! Recommended!

   Ordered air pistol on line. It was a very easy transacton. I picked up in-store next day. The whole process was completed within 24 hours. The pistol is excellent quality and the duncans team were friendly. 10/10 all round. Thankyou and I'll be back for sure!!!

   do not buy from this shop, previously bought a bsa ultra se, the rifle wasn’t even a year old in my possession, i went it to trade it against something else in the shop, i previously spent around 1700 in the shop on my rifle, case, pump and pellets along with a few other things for me to go back into the shop not even a year late to be offered 400 for the rifle with all attachments on, case and pump. how can a air rifle not been in my possession for a year had lost over a thousand pound in value. i have emailed and messaged the shop on facebook and just completely getting ignored now. i understand air rifle will lose value over time but i brought the rifle back to you when i hadn’t had it a whole year. will sell you anything to get money but when you take it back for refund, repairs or to trade in they don’t want to know. will not be using again

   I popped into the shop this morning 27/04/23 to ask for the price of a gun that I fell in love with a while back. I was greeted once in the shop by the super friendly staff and when I asked about the rifle I was looking for the chap had a bend new one just in he took it out of the box and let me have a really good look. Within a few minutes I brought my gun in to the shop and a deal was made a deal that I was more than happy with and I finally had the gun that actually peaked my interest in shooting in the first place. All in all ide like to say the staff where very friendly and helpful and approachable for any questions I had. I will 100% use them again and can't wait to see what I buy next thanks guys for a great experience. James Walker

   Great shop with over 40 years of experience. These guys have never steered me wrong with their advice, sometimes even recommending a less expensive option which they knew would be much more suitable to my requirements. Friendly and knowledgeable and the stock is extensive, but knives sell like hot cakes here so call ahead to avoid disappointment. Best gunsmiths in Yorkshire, hands down.

   I've been a customer at Duncans for over 30 years on and off but sort of lost touch with them when they moved premises a few years ago. The owners is a proper skilled gun maker and master craftsman who's skills and knowledge go far beyond just standing behind a counter selling things. The shop stocks everything an outdoors type could possibly desire. Everything from guns and knives to metal detectors. Customer care and product knowledge are second to none. A proper old school gun shop of the kind that sadly is becoming rare these days!

   Good shop ran by a master of his trade This guy is something else. Now this is why stores are better than online in certain cases. Paul is the owner here and has had this shop for years and years. I went in expecting to spend a considerable amount of money and he actually talked me down into buying something cheaper that will shoot just as well! Talked with him for a good 30 minutes. He knows his stuff. Can’t complain at all, got me a nice new air rifle with a scope, gun bag and targets thrown in for free. Shot it for a few days now and I’m impressed, lots of fun and shoots exactly how he said it would. Duncans is the place to go, this is the one type of business I would say is worth going in store for. The service is unbeatable. If you keep coming back he will notice you’re a good customer and give you discounts, Cheers Paul!
