   I would strongly advise caution before using Carisbrooke Vets. My experience has shown me that they cannot be relied upon to give consistent or honest information. When my kitten attended her first vaccination, I was clearly told that her follow-up vaccination needed to take place within 3–4 weeks. I missed the appointment and attempted to rebook within the 4th week, I acted on that advice.They told me I would have to pay for another course of vaccinations, A refund wouldn't be given despite keeping an old number on file despite the contact over the years being the number I have had for ten years. However, when I raised a dispute with my bank, Carisbrooke Vets gave a completely different version of events to Mastercard, claiming they had advised a 3–6 week window instead. I have an email from them confirming the 3–4 week advice, so their contradictory statements are impossible to ignore. This inconsistency left me out of pocket and demonstrates a lack of integrity in how they handle clients. In my view, this is not just poor communication but a fundamental breach of trust. A veterinary practice should put the welfare of animals first, We have now had to delay getting my cat natured because of this, they will do anything to get more money out of you.

   We have been so pleased with Carisbrooke Veterinary Surgery. They are always friendly, helpful and professional. We don't always see the same vet but that hasn't been a problem as they are all so nice. The same can be said for the reception staff who are always really helpful. Our experience has been that they really care about their patient's welfare and it's not all about the money. Thank you Carisbrooke, keep up the good work.

   Always amenable and friendly reception staff. I have only once seen the same vet twice, none have introduced themselves, I don’t even know they were always vets! Always professional and kind to my cat but rarely engaging or providing shared decision regarding treatment options.

   Friendly , knowledgeable , and experienced staff. Thank you to Nuria always smiling, very thorough and made Brillo (shihtzu) feel at ease. A thank you also to the lady in reception (Sandown branch) again very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Happy customer and dog !

   With a pair of budgies, I was looking around for a vet on the island. A ton of vets would charge me £75 for just cutting my budgies nails. Carisbrooke vets charges me 6-16 whenever I go to them, with friendly, attentative and positive doctors and vets helping me. I can not recommend this vet enough to anyone.

   I came on holiday 30th June my dog Bruno had cancer and kidney trouble he became un well on fri 1st July and got very poorly over the weekend I phoned a couple of vets one to busy and after six phone calls and not answering the phone I became very despaired . I phoned carisbrook and this lovley kind lady was so helpful she told me to go to there freshwater vets as we were holidaying there. I took Bruno and I couldn’t have had a better lovley vet nurse etc they were so kind gentle understanding and sympathetic even thou my dog was over 17 there was so much compassion everything was so professional I can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend this vets THANKYOU to all in my hour of need

   I have been using the Carisbrook vet branch for years and I have never had a bad experience with any of their staff members. Always joyous and will bend over backwards to accommodate and help where they can. These vets work tirelessly and does it for the love of the animals in their care rather than the money.which shows it their work.
