   Just had a lesson with Mike. He is fantastic, great instruction, very calm and confident and I had a fantastic time flying. Would highly recommend for anyone thinking about flying for the first time.

   What a fabulous experience from start to finish. Purchased for our Dads 70th birthday he had a lesson in R22 Nothing at all was to much trouble for Mike when it came to organising days, times and watching the weather. On the day Peter and Mike were welcoming, approachable and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. From walking in to walking out their priority was flying safely and for those with them to have an amazing experience. An hour flying and landing with a huge smile on his face - our Dad certainly enjoyed every minute. I don’t think it’s the last time he will fly a helicopter and we will definitely be doing it again with Hummingbird. Fantastic!

   Mike took myself, my daughter & my 6 year old grandson out on a flight experience today. He is absolutely spot on, informative, kind and very very thorough. Had the best experience we could have wished for, would do it again in a heart beat. Would 100% recommend Mike & Hummingbird to anyone wanting that something a little different but so so special

   Learning to fly is a big commitment. Hummingbird Helicopters were able to offer advice and answer all of my questions when first enquiring, early 2022. Their guidance was very fair, even suggesting that I consider all helicopter schools before booking. However they were still the best value! They currently provide PPL, CPL and instructor training, and have Robinson R22s and R44 available, so are ideal for anyone looking to become a student and progress. The instructors are absolutely brilliant - skilled, very knowledgeable and able to constantly develop and improve the student. No minute of flying and no learning opportunity is ever missed or wasted, which, given the cost of flying is invaluable. Being based out of Humberside International Airport, you also get the chance to become familiar with the radio - again squeezing out every bit of value from the training. I cannot recommend Hummingbird Helicopters highly enough to prospective students, or anyone wanting to try an experience flight.

   I have just finished three days of training with the boys at Hummingbird. What a brilliant experience! Instructors Simon Wiles and Michael Hall run a tight ship, both consummate professionals, but warm and friendly guys at heart. The instruction is of an exceptionally high standard. The school operates two Robinson 22s, one of which is brand spanking new and is dressed in that sexy metallic grey one usually sees on an Aston Martin. She is an absolute beauty! Doncaster airfield poses a new level of challenge with a higher level of procedures and RT, ideal for those with an eye on the higher qualifications. Not to mention that the 737 which taxied behind still tickles me with delight. The school is housed in two offices, the facilities are modern, convenient and very tidy. The atmosphere at the school is personal, both boys were keen to help with whatever challenges I faced on the day, even if it took some repeating. I must say that I really enjoyed my short visit to Hummingbird and I have no hesitation in recommending this school.

   What a fantastic day. My wife and family brought me a R22 discovery day for my birthday, which was a great present. The welcome from Mike and the team was brilliant. Two hours flying and the remainder of the day was classroom training. I wish everyone at Hummingbird Helicopters every success in the future. Definitely recommend.

   My wife got me a helicopter flight experience with Hummingbird helicopters with Simon the pilot. It had been cancelled twice due to covid. But Mike was very very helpful. Simon was a very experienced pilot and was able to answer all my questions and was able to reassure me off any worries I had. It was the best day out in my life,not kidding It was fantastic and I will be back,hopefully on a monthly basis. Both Simon and Michael are a credit to Hummingbird Helicopters you couldn't meet a nicer more helpful pair of workers. I can't recommend them highly enough...5 Star service all the way..well done guys....

   My family bought me a 15-minute flight experience for my birthday, and what an experience! Thought I would be nervous but I was just very excited. Both Mike and my pilot Callum were extremely welcoming, informative and very friendly. The whole experience was amazing and it's something I shall never forget. Even if I (hopefully) have another helicopter flight this will always stay with me as a very special time. Still can't get the smile from my face! Would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks, guys, for your time. Lovely to meet you all and hope to do so again some time in the future.
