Best dog groomer around! If you live in the Portsmouth area, I highly recommend Josh. Our spaniel loves him so much and pulls all the way to his house for a couple of hours of play, fun and groom! 10/10

Really excellent consultation and cut from Joshua. He really cares about your dog, and with his 1 dog at a time policy if your dog is nervous or deserves a bit of "me" time then Smitten Pooches is definitely the best choice. Also the dog perfumes he has are Brilliant.

Took our miniature poodle for his first full groom with Josh and very happy with the results. Frankie came back with a fantastic summer coat, clipped nails and smelling lovely. Absolutely over the moon with Josh's work and we'll definitely be using him for all our future grooming needs :-)
After a lovely phonecall I was excited and happy to send my puppy for his first groom at Smitten Pooches, however I was incredibly disappointed and upset with the outcome. The breed of my puppy is a Poochon (the Teddy bear dogs) but my puppy now looks nothing like this! He came out with matts in him still, completely different lengths all across his body - his back being the worse. The most disappointing part of the groom was my puppy's face. I showed the groomer a photo and stated it was just a trim I wanted my puppy to have however the groomer decided to do whatever he fancied and completely ruined my puppy's face shape. There is no fluffy fur left on him whatsoever. We are now almost 3 weeks on and my puppy still looks like he has been hacked at. I tried to raise my concerns with the groomer however was just told it takes time to build a relationship and not to expect the groom I was after, but I am still left questioning how this effects giving my puppy a simple small trim keeping his puppy features? I do not recommend and will not be returning. If a groomer does not listen and respect the owners wishes then they should not be trusted with clippers near their dogs!
