Over the last 2 days i’ve spent well over an hour on the phone trying to get through to the reception. It’s urgent and needs to be sorted ASAP and yet not a single person is able to answer the phone. This is ridiculous. Just be aware, if you wanna study here or your kids go here, you will never actually get anywhere when you try to contact them. This college is more like a circus.

Quickly realised I'd made a mistake enrolling, they're over subscribed & under staffed. Class tutors hit & miss. A chaotic induction process with plenty of communication problems. There are urgent safeguarding issues to be addressed which they are aware of. We endured a militant style lecture on the culture, which left me feeling anxious about the safety and security of the campus.

My experience at Hull College has been extremely disappointing. From the start, the atmosphere was unwelcoming and unprofessional. On my course, a tutor actually told us that we “couldn’t get anywhere in life,” which was not only discouraging but completely unacceptable coming from someone meant to be supporting and motivating students. The staff in general were often rude rather than helpful. One incident that really stood out was when I asked at reception for help in speaking with a careers advisor. Instead of giving me support, a member of staff dismissed me with the comment, “he’s not your mum.” This was completely unnecessary, unprofessional, and left me feeling very uncomfortable. The college environment overall dragged me and my friend down instead of helping us grow. I never felt supported or encouraged, only looked down on. Because of this, I’ve chosen to continue my Level 2 course elsewhere at a much better college, where I already feel more respected and valued. The only staff member in this college who was really nice and respectful towards me and my friend was Andy he was always is helpful and made us feel welcome. I’m happy to say me and my friend are on a level 2 sports course at a different college which has made us feel welcome immediately. Hull College should be a place that uplifts and inspires students, but unfortunately my experience was the complete opposite.

The only helpful person was Andy from student services he's the only person that genuinly made me feel welcomed and kept supporting me I've been at this college for two years first year was fine second year we had a teacher favouriting one student we had her slagging half the students off to eachother never helped with any problems and made out like we was all going to fail I've never felt more bad about life till this one course it was meant to be a fresh start when all it did was drag my mental health down there are some okay teachers but half of them especially one receptionist had to ruin it all for me and my friend we are now happy to say we have been accepted into a better course in a college that has made us feel more welcomed than ever bye hull college

This college is the pure definition of a joke, I studied an IT course at LVL 2 and got nothing but consistent bullying and torment by the students due to my Physical deformities and my Aspergers Syndrome. The colleges ability to deal with it was absurd at best, claiming "it was all in my head" and "I was instigating the bullying". Not to mention the security in the college couldn't empty a jug if I told them the instructions where on the back.

I did level 2 electrical institution. I dont live local to the collage (traveled in from Lincolnshire), nowhere for students to park on campus even though I have a bad leg so I find walking difficult. I was asked to do level 3 (for alot of money). I went to register one evening and I was turned away because student cant park on campus even in the evening when the carpark is empty.... The courses are great the campus is horrid. Dont attend.
