   Well, this school is just so lovely! I was invited to have a look around as I aspired to be a new company partnership with my recent sock making business which had been taking off. Walking around the school, everyone seemed to be so happy which filled me with such joy, for these children are our future!! Although I was not taken up on my offer to partner with the school to help those young individuals aspiring to create socks, I am now positive we have a bright generation of hope ahead of us with these children. Starting to dread the nursing home a little less now hahaha!! Overall I would recommend this school to anyone, but also my sock making business which has seen less and less sales in the past months.    Outstanding school with passionate teachers and exemplary faculties, eldest daughter flourished when she was there, stayed for the six form and now is in university, youngest daughter is currently attending and has completely gained her confidence and focus.a highly respected and recommended school

   Absolutely horrible open night experience. Sent from one floor to another to another building, but all those people were nice at least. Finally, in the Steam building, and no one knows what the T level in media and production is that is on the website for September 2024. Then we get to talk to a man who says they’re probably not even doing them, that the government is getting rid of them and coming up with something else. I said we came for that specific qualification. He continues on in a very abrupt and unwelcoming way and didn’t like that my daughter was upset that her whole reason for attending the open night was a waste of time. We left and I mentioned to the people on the door that it was a waste of our time as you weren’t even going to bother doing the T Level that is listed on the website. She said I should ask the exact same man who’s been so rude and when I said he was the one who said you were never going to do it, she apologised FOR HIS BEHAVIOUR but said he should know because he was the vice principal or something. Everyone else there made a good Impression, despite not knowing about this T-level but this man, wow, not a great ad for the school at all. All in all an absolute disappointment.

   I keep saying this over and over again. Ron Dearing UTC is one of the most outstanding schools in the country. The teachers are supportive and you do get 1 to 1 help with work. The students leave everything tidy and treat it like a workplace. This is my second year here and so far my experience has been great. They offer a wide variety of enrichments ranging from violin playing to managing a F1 in schools team. So I'm giving it a honest review because there's nothing more better than representing a state-of-the-art school.

   Lovely staff,everyone is so kind and its like a family.I have been improving my grades massively since I have been going here. Do not believe all the horrible things other schools have been saying from my experience they are all wrong.

   Best decision we have ever made to move our son here. For the first time in his life he enjoys school. Fantastic support and the progress he has made in one term is amazing. He comes home tired after the long days but still buzzing. Very approachable staff from the top down. We would highly recommend any parent with the child interested in engineering to consider sending them here.

   My step son has done all his A levels at school this year passed all levels so got into Ron dearing he started in September 2017 and to be to the point hasn't learnt anything at all really he has 1 or 2 lessons a day, sometimes the teacher is not available so are left some paper work to do.... The college are still waiting for parts material for practical work... hmmmm we're they coming from... SPACE... In my opinion the teachers are still learning to learn others I did expect better, he learnt more at primary and more support, not to mention he hasn't even met his mentor yet..
