   University Quarter was the very first accommodation I stayed in the UK, and honestly, it set the bar incredibly high. The experience was genuinely delightful from start to finish. The living room and kitchen were spacious, well-designed, and perfect for both relaxing and socialising. My room was stunning, comfortable, bright, and felt like a proper home rather than just student housing. What really stood out was the practicality: ample parking made life much easier, the cleaning facilities were reliable and well-managed, and the maintenance team was exceptionally prompt and professional whenever something needed attention. Everything just worked smoothly, which is rare and hugely underrated. Looking back, it’s one of those places that makes you miss Hull a little, and University Quarter even more. Jason from University Quarter's maintenance team was absolutely fantastic! He responded quickly to my request and resolved the electrical issue efficiently and professionally. His work was top-notch, and he made sure everything was safe and fully functional before leaving. Excellent service—reliable, friendly, and skilled. Highly recommended!

   I have lived in a UQ house for 2 years now and have had the most amazing experience with the accommodation. The cleaning staff do an amazing job every week and are so lovely even when we’ve have had girls in the house doing night shifts they’ve still come to clean around our schedule and have been so accommodating. They are lovely! Also the handymen are so helpful, whenever we’ve had a problem they will be out in 5-10 minutes to come sort it and have always managed to find a solution to our problems!

   This is 2nd year of 4 year course at hull university, 1st I spent in an on campus accommodation and spent my time there being hating it and felt like my health condition and and physical disability never got heard. So when I found UQ had a ground floor en suite room cheaper then what I was in and playing more for a tiny room, I was happy. Since I’ve been in living here, all issues I’ve raised been sorted out within 24-48 hours, several time they came the same day which was amazing. They been so helpful with my disability and have listened to my health issues and have helped me make my pain not to flare if possible. The letting team is always so friendly and bubbly every time I’ve either called up or gone into the office and have took time to listen to me and see how I am. Wendy who is the welfare manager was so supportive, understanding and caring when I came in today, she took time to listen to what my physical and mental health issues and how they really affect me in my daily life, she comfort me when i was feeling upset and overwhelmed as I’ve recently lost 2 family members. The fact she helped me with how I was feeling at the time and I’ve mentioned who I feel a burden with my health issues and reassured me that I wasn’t and they’re all here to help. They are very supportive and try to help if you need any help with physical health issues and is sorting out getting a bar put in my bathroom to help with my physical disability. I’ve already resigned for my next Academic year for the same room and want to resign for the year after. Accommodation is not always easy to find and can be overwhelming looking as rooms go fast but I will always recommend University Quarter so as not only it close to university, they are so helpful and affordable and if you have any issues they will always try to help to sort it out. Even with my disability, they been amazing. I can’t find any fault with them and there maintenance crew as they all super helpful and understanding.

   UQ have made my third year of university so much more comfortable. The rooms are a nice size with an en suite (I live in the Trees). The communal areas are lovely to socialise in. The cleaner is so sweet and always goes above and beyond for our flat! I highly recommend signing with them for the duration of your university experience. Maintenance are also super quick to solve any issues. I had a dodgy mattress and Trevor came the next day with a brand new one.

   The UQ team have been very helpful in showing us a wide range of properties over 4 different viewings. As a group, we had some specific requests when it came to out 4th year house so we wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Matthew and the team were very accommodating and took into consideration all of our requests to find us the perfect house. All round great experience with amazing customer service (best student housing experience I've had in Hull so far - after 3 years). Would 100% recommend :)

   I lived in UQ for a year. When I first moved in, the cleaning aunt came to clean the house every week. After about half a year, I seldom came to clean. In winter, the heating often stops working. I remember that in January, the heating was stopped for a week. , it was a very cold winter and no one came to help us fix it despite sending emails, to my disappointment, when we had 20 days left on our contract, the uq staff asked us to move out of our house and replaced it for us A very poor house type, the house we lived in was 140 pounds per week, and we changed it to a house of 90 pounds per week. The four of us used to have private bathrooms, and the house was replaced by four people sharing a bathroom, and From the time we moved into this new house to the end of the contract, we have never been provided with hot water. After half a month of no hot water, when we went to the front desk to inquire, the front desk person rolled his eyes and had a bad attitude. We sent an email to uq When compensating us for the difference in rent and when there was no hot water, employee Wendy gave me a very funny reason that we moved out a day early so there was no compensation hahahaha, so funny.

   Great company to go with. The flat was clean when I first moved it, and a very easy process to move in. Any problems that we had, they were quickly rectified and they are always great with communication, making sure we knew when there would be visits or checks being made, unlike some other accommodation companies. Close to campus and a great price, can’t wait for another year in a new house. :)

   Been with them for 2 years, they’ve always been really helpful and the maintenance guys get things done quickly. Had a few issues when moving in and wasn’t too impressed, but a phone call to the office got it sorted every time. Think they could be more organised with students moving in, however. I wasn’t given the entry code to my studio flat and the WiFi took a while to get sorted. There was no information when I moved in re. Keys, bins, WiFi password. Other than that they’ve been great.
