   Robert helped my parents and I sort out my mums private pension. He patiently explained everything we needed to know and also helped us fill out the forms. All this in the comfort of my parents lounge. Which definitely made mum feel more comfortable as she had become quite anxious about dealing with it. Couldn’t recommend Robert enough.

To make sure we were on the right track for retirement or if we needed to make any changes now before it was too late. Robert’s advice saved us making a potential financial loss and gave us piece of mind for our future. We will be seeking his advice again soon.

He really understood my needs and has helped me develop a portfolio to match that. We have multiple check ups a year to review where I am at and if we need to tweak anything. He knows his stuff and has helped me keep my long term in goals in mind rather than chasing short term gains.    Abbotstone Financial Services was highly recommended by multiple people on a local FB page. These unprompted recommendations and the words ‘professional, understanding, knowledgable, approachable, responsive and patient’, coupled with ‘I didn’t feel pressurised’, prompted me to contact them. Robert called me back in a timely manner, his calmness encouraged me to arrange a F2F meeting to discuss finances and pension. I was very reticent to discuss as I’d previously been hit with a critical illness and discussing finances and pensions seemed so final! However Robert’s approach ensured I felt comfortable to do so. Robert was incredibly patient and always responded promptly to my multiple questions via email and phone. All very time consuming for him but I didn’t feel under any pressure to accept any proposals. Once I agreed to proceed the transaction flowed seamlessly and I was kept up to date with progress at every step. Subsequently I receive regular formal and informal updates which are very reassuring.
