   toilets at the venue are clean, modern and well looked after, now to what really matters the concert hall as great sound/lighting and is a delight to be in. i found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. overall well worth the 1hr drive our party of 7 made, its a gem that shall remain on my radar for gigs etc

   What can I say, What a night we had, both bands were amazing, the German brass band with every one up and moving and drinking was such fun! The atmosphere was great with everyone you could see enjoying themselves! And the best thing of all was the beers! Can't wait for the next one..

   As a non beer drinker, I still like this place, It has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff, the Cider choice is very small but of really good quality and taste. It's not cheap, in fact it's actually quite expensive but the drinks are strong so I guess you don't buy as many. Love that there are lots of dogs in there, although I'm a bit nervous of big dogs and on occasion they have been sat literally on the door mat meaning you have to climb over them to enter or leave, not so keen on that.

   As it's an old church, the accoustics are great. Small, 300 capacity floor means you've got to be quick buying tickets, but there's great views of the stage no matter where you're stood. Long bar with plenty of staff and big selection of beers. Highly recommended.

   Busy, friendly atmosphere. We went upstairs to the function room for the Burlesque Night which was great fun & very funny. I highly recommend it for a fun night out for both men & women. The function room is lovely & you can see all the original features in the ceiling. Staff are lovely & work well together. Fabulous choice of drinks, not just beer. I've tried quite a few different beers now & haven't found one which i don't like.

   Great night at Beerlesque. Whole cast amazing. Beautiful venue. Friendly team. Would have preferred tabled seating to chair aisles so had somewhere to place drinks rather than the floor. Looking forward to visiting again

   I was lucky enough to attend the opening night of Docks Academy yesterday and wow, impressive, is an understatement! The venue is incredibly intimate and regardless of where you are sat or stood, you will feel as if you are on stage .., and the acoustics from the arched ceiling just enhance your experience even more! Docks Academy is brought to you courtesy of Docks Beer and situated above the brewery and tap room in King Edward St, Grimsby. Situated on the first floor in a deconsecrated church, this impressive venue seats 180 and has a standing capacity of 300. This live performance venue will appeal to all, offering everything including music, comedy, arts, theatre and of course, all to be enjoyed, whilst sampling one of the many fine in house beers brewed downstairs. This is a venue that is going places and I can't stress enough, that you really should attend one of their up and coming nights. Putting Grimsby on the map, with a lot of hard graft and overtime .., the Docks Academy will only grow in status .., and I can't wait to go again!
