   I moved to Tax Assist, Liss, five years ago. They know their stuff and they offer my business prompt and reassuring advice. When I'm going down a wrong path, they politely but firmly put me back on track and I appreciate that. I have never missed a deadline with VAT or IR but only thanks to Doug and his team. I have always found him very open and very informed of the options open to me with regards tax. 3. The Heel Pain Expert ★☆☆☆☆

   Avoid at all costs. After having engaged Doug in January of 2012, he strung us along (in our previous business) for 6 months saying that our accounts were 'in an incredible mess' and 'was working on them'. Far from a giant PLC with mountains of unprocessed receipts. We were in fact a 50k per year turnover small business with a completely average level of work required to bring us up to speed (as we later found out). Although suspected - we were as it turned out, running at a loss. That was exactly why we needed management accounts and an accurate financial picture of our business. We put our trust in Doug, but come June when we decided enough was enough - we were insolvent.. We may have been a low priority client, but to not tell us that cost us our business. Thoroughly unprofessional, I hope you avoid the same fate.
