I was recommended D B DOMESTIC SERVICES by a tradesman I trust fully. I contacted DB DOMESTIC SERVICES out of hours and left them a message. They contacted me promptly upon opening and booked me in efficiently - with a friendly service. The engineer (Jack) turned up promptly for our booked appointment and was a delight. Jack is 27 and has 11 years experience! Wow! He located the problem by ear and had everything he needed to rectify the situation with the band that was at fault. He even noticed a small leak and rectified this as a good will gesture. Jack was with me less than an hour and I’m back to normal. The price charged was £60. Incredible value for money! Our washing machine stopped working. I chose D.B.Domestic Services as they were local and had good reviews. Arrived within specified time. Was polite and friendly Took 2 minutes to test and diagnose fault in the wall plug socket. Cost £30 Unfortunately they are not electricians so we still need to get someone else to fix it.
As a tradesman myself, I completely understand that a callout to a property is free of charge, but once time is spent fault finding this is, quite reasonably, chargeable. I have known Don for over 16 years and have used him to service washing machines and supply new machines when needed. His charges are very very reasonable, his knowledge second to none. He is also one of the most genuine and friendly people I have ever met and completely upfront and honest with his charges and work. Easily one of the best old school traders in the area, and I have just booked him to supply and install my new washing machine.

What an amazing service from both Don and his son. Both were extremely polite and very professional. As I'm sure many people are very reliant on their washing machines I was really pleased they were able to come out and fix my machine the next day and at a very reasonable cost and with no call out fee.
