   Three stars as most rentals, own home and will went smoothly ( used mainly Hedon office as still living East Hull then ). Last rental property different ballgame. Being the buyer, I was initially sent the seller's pack resulting in delay. After 3months++ final completion. Admitting solicitor picked up a slight issue from seller's side. Been told to be patient for title/ deeds.... normally issued at completion. Regularly enquiring about updates... finally to receive documents, name correct but incorrect address. ... Again off to Cottingham office for rectification. My last rental property dealings with them weren't the best in my opinion.

   I couldn’t recommend this firm enough. I have just recently completed on my second sale and purchase and have used Paul Harrison both times, and should I ever sell or purchase again I will without a doubt instruct him again. I have recommended at least 3 other friends who have also used Paul and have been extremely happy. My purchase took a while due to no fault on our end and Paul was always actively chasing up the other solicitors despite his busy case load, it didn’t ever feel like I was a hassle whenever I did email and was always able to give me advice and recommendations when needed. Nicky.c who sorted the completion was also really easy to contact and would always respond to queries quickly. Thank you again!

   On multiple occasions Jane Brooks Law have had breaches in security when it comes to the handling of personal and financial data, they have lost bank statements sent to them, sent cheques intended for other clients to myself, as well as sending purchase and sale completion paperwork to the wrong address. Failure to give satisfactory responses to why these breaches have occurred. Company has an extremely lax attitude to data protection would not recommend even if these breaches had not taken place. They are slow to respond to correspondence and constantly need chasing to get progress reports. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

   From start to finish, poor communication, constantly getting details wrong, speaking to numerous different assistants, and then finally receiving a bill over £400 more than quoted in my initial paperwork. When I disputed this, I was then sent an amended bill for the original amount with no apology or explanation.

   This is coming as a really late review, as we have been in our house for almost a year. But being preoccupied with new house, review got lost in a way. I was concerned at first reading reviews, but apart from maybe not much of communication, everything was fine. It was within the time frame they said and within price they said in the beginning.

We received an incredible, thorough service ensuring that we were fully informed and supported throughout the process.
