   I used Murray Hills as my solicitors for the purchase of my first property and I am very glad that I did. Ann Fletcher and her team were brilliant in organising the purchase process and I went from buying the property at the end of April to moving in at the very beginning of August. When I initially called up for a quote, it was far cheaper than any other quote I had received elsewhere and there were no hidden costs for emails or calls and the final amount I paid matched exactly what I was quoted which was amazing as I didn’t have to fork out any extra money after purchasing the property and everything else that goes with it! Since I’m local to hull it was so easy for me to just drop my documents off instead of waiting for it to be posted and possibly delaying the process even more. I’d definitely recommend Murray Hills to anyone who is looking for solicitors.

   Not happy with the service from this firm. Was told abruptly I shouldn’t be speaking to you as your not an executor. Even though they took instructions from me in the beginning to sell my late mothers house. My brothers had to call on many occasions to chase the progress as was not kept up to date. And they would not speak to me. Once my mums probate had arrived I contacted them to let them know.(they could speak to me now ?) I said I will drop the probate in. To which I was told I needed to make an appointment. Which I then did for that same day. When I arrived at 2.30 for the appointment I was greeted at the door. And was told I couldn’t come in I had to wait there while they took a copy of mums probate. She then opened the door and gave me it back. Can understand all this Covid. But to be told HAD to make an appointment then have to wait outside is beyond me. At the end of the day we were paying you for a service which was totally appalling, lack of customer service, and no empathy when saying I shouldn’t even be talking to you. Your staff need training on how to be polite when dealing with deceased relatives. There are certain ways to speak to clients in a professional manor Would never use this firm again and would never recommend to anyone

   I used this Solicitors for a transfer of equity and Ann was absolutely amazing. I really did feel supported through the transition. We are using her again for the purchase of my parents property and with out a doubt will be using Murray Hills for all future moves. Good service, very good value for money. Highly recommend.

   Absolutely would not recommend this solicitors. We went with Murray Hills to buy and sell, we constantly had to chase them up to prompt them to give us any kind of update. We didn't receive a reply when questioned about the property boundary line, no email was sent back to us regarding that matter so we are still none the wiser. We are still owed money from our buyer which Murray Hills said they would chase up, this was in March 2021. It seemed as though they didn't try very hard to start with but once they got our money, they stopped trying all together. Questions and querys still need to be answered but it seems as though now they have finalised our sale, those questions and querys do not matter. Very disappointed, definitely will not use again.
