You prebook to make sure you have it when you need it and it never turns up on time. We have had problems before. After 20mins of calling and being told "it's round the corner" we cancelled.
Absolutely terrible service from Veezu — stay away at all costs. I pre-booked a taxi two hours in advance for my wife so she could pick up our son from nursery. I even said I would pay in advance because she didn’t have cash. The booking was for 15:45 — by 15:55, there was no driver, no update, no message, nothing. I called Veezu three times, and every time they kept repeating “2 minutes, the driver is on the way.” This was obviously a lie because no driver ever arrived. When I finally called to cancel, the person on the phone couldn’t care less. He was rude, dismissive, and acted like it wasn’t his problem. I asked for a refund, and he just said, “Yeah, 5 days,” then asked, “So you want to cancel?” As soon as I said yes, he hung up the phone. Because of their incompetence, my son was left at nursery longer than ever — the nursery even called us because all the other kids had already left and he was upset. My wife had to call her friend to come and get her because Veezu never showed up. This company is full of empty promises, lies, and zero customer care. Avoid Veezu completely — not reliable, not professional, and not trustworthy.
Drivers have always been nice and on time but twice I've been overcharged now. They've quoted me £8.50 then charged me £11.50. Gypsyville to town centre. You don't have any control coz they have your bank details. I haven't used them again because of this but if I do in the future, I'll be sure to question this.
