The ferry itself was great. HOWEVER the bus services between the terminals and nearby railway stations are a shambles: despite purchasing tickets in advance, we received no information about when or where the bus from Hull to the departure actually left from, and ended up having to get a taxi. On departure from the port in Rotterdam, our bus spent over an hour waiting before setting off, causing us to miss our train.

Hull to Rotterdam TIR: We enter the Port and scan our passport. Ticket gets printed and handed out, drive to the ship and line up behind the other trucks. There is no waiting area, first come first park
