Absolutely awesome experience today. The guys made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Me and my son had a great time and left buzzing. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!
Yesterday was my second visit for my birthday. (Apologies if I am wrong). I think my instructor was called Lewis. He was so laid back and calming. His instructions were really clear and relatable. I felt that I achieved a lot in the session. All the staff were chilled and polite. The music was nice and the place was perfect, regardless of whether you planned to wakeboard. It felt nostalgic, the kind of vibes you get at a skatepark. Everyone is encouraging and wanting you to have a great time and grow. ❤️
Access to Hilsea Shore path and Lido past Wake Park. Also the fairly decent walk along the Hilsea lines to West Bastion. Water skiing via motorised pulley system can often be seen in use. Cafe by Wake park was busy. Parking is next to old Blue Lagoon Club. Plenty of seating in cafe area and at end of water towards rear of Grammar school playing fields, at end of long stretch of water. The revamp of Hilsea Lido is now taking place. South Coast Wake park area is also had some changes. This includes a re paint of shipping container, which is very striking. A lot of money is being spent on a refurbished of the whole area. To be noted that the old building on side of Lido has been demolished. So the mural painted by My Dog Sighs has gone. This artwork did cheer up the area. Possibly to be replaced after rebuilding?
Located in Hilsea Lines, Portsmouth. Nice cafe adjacent to the Wakepark. Can park opposite the lake; across from the bridge. Lovely dog freindly walk in woodland and around the lake. Hilsea Lido kids splash pools, [ Hilsea Lido closed], kids play park, youngsters skate park/ramps. Recommended for nice family walk and refreshments stop.
Great place. First time ever trying it. I was on my own and felt welcome and at ease. Great instructor, very patient. Good facilities, plenty of free parking. Very easy to find.
A nice coffee in great surroundings on a beautiful day.
Beautiful park.perfect for a walk/picnic /time passing in a sunny days. There's scope for skateboarding, water skiing, dog walking,cycling etc.
