A useful car park to access Cams Lake and exploring the upper reaches of Fareham Lake. It has no height restriction so useable with roof rack. Launching and recovery of kayaks and boards should be restricted to more than 2m of tide as the mud flats are a bird feeding area.

A bit of very basic chalky hard standing next to the park at Cams water. No lighting at night- unless the moon is out! Why give it five stars? Location and price, great for dog walkers and strolling by the water. If you can't do uneven surfaces or puddles there is another car park next to Portchester AFC but this one always seems to have space.
