OK so today we couldn't find a policy that was competitive enough for my perhaps slightly more complex needs but I have used MEM on and off for decades (as my mother used to!) and I can't fault them for being friendly and, as ever, helpful. I found problems dealing with insurance companies on policies bought through comparison websites because the questions on the online forms are sometimes tricky to answer and they won't talk to you in person - you have to go through the insurers portal. The least I can do is leave a positive review as I would recommend them and will use them in the future as I like my insurance to be right - I'm not just after the cheapest quote - I want to know I'm properly covered and I can discuss this with the people at MEM who know more about it than I do.

Took out an insurance with them, they refunded my premium, because they said they got information from Kindertons Accident Management that I had a claim with them, phoned up Kindertons Accident Management about the information they had sent to MEM, they advised me that I had 13 claims, and the last one was with a red Kia motor car in York, I have never owned or driven a red Kia motor car, I have never been in York, and live 400 miles away from york, The 13 claims they had was not me and was done by someone else but ended up in my name. These Brokers are incompetent, lie and mix up your information. I had a previous claim which was refused, I went to the FOS and my claim was upheld, and the Legal Expenses company then took on my claim. I contacted MEM the Director I spoke to then said they did not have Kindrrtons phone number, obviously he was unable to look it up on the Internet. (RECORDED PHONE CALL)
We’ve renewed our taxis insurance two years in a row without hassle. Staff are extremely helpful and always call back when they say they will. Overall a great value, efficient service with a friendly team to boot. Highly recommended.
Brilliant!!! I have both car insurance and home insurance with these guys and unfortunately had to claim on both within a few weeks of each other. Both were resolved very quickly and efficiently, I even got my excess back for my car insurance, where else does that happen!
