September 21st 2022 Dear Nigel and the Fiveways team I first met Nigel at another networking event 10 years ago and I instantly felt he was genuine, caring and a professional character. Despite being in and out of different networking groups we have remained in contact throughout so it was a joy to see Nigel join BNI. He has always looked after our home insurance and caravan insurance. We have never made a claim before on any policies and then like buses we have had to claim on our home insurance and our holiday insurance in recent months. The home insurance incident was a leak and the whole process from calling the Fiveways team for advice to having video calls with the insurance company through to payment was so smooth - in a way a little unbelievable as I have heard so many horror stories over the years. I took ages doing my holiday insurance this year as it was a long holiday and involved various destinations - premiums were coming out high which was pushing me towards the cheaper policies which I knew deep down probably wouldn’t be worth the paper they were printed on. A call to Nigel to discuss our needs and he in fact reduced our quote by offering an annual policy over a single trip and answered any concerns I had. Within a few days of the cruise I had lost a bag with some valuable things in but I was confident in the policy I had taken out and also knew I just had to fire off an email to Nigel and he would do the rest - I was right! I didn’t want it hanging over me whilst on holiday but I knew I also would not have wanted to try and get through to the insurance whilst away either. The reasons above are why you pay a broker - hassle free, confidence and can save you money in the long run - but if they don’t save you pennies they will ensure you are insured appropriately! Go on hand over your policies and let Nigel and the team do what they do best! July 2021 Dear Nigel and the team at Fiveways Insurance Group I would like to thank you for all of your work with all of our insurance policies - whether that be the home insurance for building and contents; the caravan insurance; changing policies when we moved house; travel insurance with complicated pre-existing medical conditions or business insurances. Nigel was the first person I met when I started networking eight years ago and it was obvious he was not only an expert in the insurance field but also a genuine and honest person. Our insurances have never been straightforward due to specialist race bikes; high contents value in the garage; racing abroad and needing specialist sports insurances; my medical history and the list goes on! When we sold our caravan and bought another we wanted the insurance cover to continue on both as pick and collection times were unconfirmed. Nigel and his team made sure both caravans were insured for a period and the same when we moved house - we had both properties covered for an interim period. When renewing business insurances in recent months, a member of the Fiveways team spotted we had been paying for the same cover twice over two policies both of which were sold to me by a different high street broker who should have been aware of that and if they were aware then should have let the customer know they did not need to pay twice! It isn’t a couple of clicks to get a quote and I would worry if it was because the finer details make all the difference when a claim is made. The Fiveways team gives me and my family great confidence when it comes to all insurances and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others. After all if your caravan was stolen, a house went on fire or property was burgled then you would know you would make one phone call and the Fiveways team would do the rest - that alone is worth every penny.
