I have just moved into the area 8months ago and getting to know the local people. I am not far from Westbourne house and go by daily. I have heard so many things said about them, however i couldnt fault the service and the staff. Yes i am sure people may have had bad dealings, but any one coming out of that building as I have been passing, have all been polite to me so far. I have spoken directly to one of the managers (name begins with A, Annamaria I think), who had come out of the building to help a member of staff disperse a small group who were outside. She was very informative of the service and left me feeling listened to and valued. She provided me with the hostels number so should i have any issues or questions, i could speak to them directly. I have also spoken to a Dann and Sammi, who i often see outside speaking to the people and deal with any issues directly. Love seeing others helping people in their time of need. We need more people like this.

Quote from Humbercares mission statement…”Our main focus is on providing quality accommodation”. All I can say from reading the below one star reviews, and being a current tenant of Humbercare, everything is true what they say. The properties have the minimum spent on them, rodent infestations, terrible insulation in 1910 era houses, so in winter it's colder than cold. You will be placed in the worst drug and crime infested areas of Hull. I could go on, but simply read the below reviews for more info. HumbercCare offer supported housing, but how is this supported housing? What support are HumberCare's qualified staff offering? Did you know they charge the council over £1500 for this dump I’m living in. I know because I recently requested a statement of housing benefit, which showed this. For £1500 this company are making bank and so is the Landlord who purchases the cheapest places in the worse areas, and they fill them full of undesirables (mostly). Literally the worse place I have ever lived in. You just need to look around and see the quality of paintwork, finishing, holes in intake pipes throughout the house, terrible finishing on walls with holes multiple holes in the walls that have been filled sloppily, and not sanded down. Damp in multiple places throughout the property that still isn't resolved, even though you complain about it. It goes on and on. If this was my home, I could have resolved most of the issues for very little money, but Humbercare want to get away with getting the £1500 a month for one person in one flat, whilst spending next to nothing unless forced to. I will finally say this, with bills as high as they are, these houses are ancient, as they were built in the early 1910s, so because they don’t insulate the places (loft insulation for example), and holes near the wood frames were the double glazing residues, it’s going to be insanely cold come winter. But why would Humbercare care about this? You just keep your central heating on high all day, as I’m disabled so tend to stay in the flat a lot. They don’t have to worry about £300 winter gas bills per month do they?

They shoved alot of vunerable, substance misuse, individuals in our beautiful area. We have had break in's from their residents, damages to our roof, and our garden. We've had four break in from the residents they decided to shove on our street "park Grove hull". They couldn't careleess about shoving random people in those HMO's houses. We brought our home, and we've had over £4000 worth of damages by individuals they have decided to give living space to in our area. Disgusting charity/organisation

WOW what an amazing support service! Courtney and Hannah found one of your service users looking after my one year old kitten who has been missing since four days. They recognised that something wasn’t right and they went above and beyond to talk the service user into accepting having my kitten taken to a vets to be checked for a chip and to find its rightful owner. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It would have been easy for them to turn a blind eye but they didn’t and I’ll be forever grateful for that.

Been living in my Humbercare property now for nearly "4 Years"!!!! Still having issues with minor things like Rubbish in my back garden which should have been removed over 2 Years ago, also the flooring in my bedroom needs repairing,my so-called support worker didn't want to know, infact she more or less said repair it yourself!!! I have a fat kid living above me who constantly bangs his door to his flat, anyway I reported this to my support worker,I just said jokingly, you'll do some repairs on it once it falls off,she turned around and said yeah we probably will do if that happens,I couldn't believe what I was hearing,It's a joke,OUR BORDER COLLIE "MAX" COULD DO A BETTER JOB WITH HIS EYES SHUT,BLESS HIM!!!!! I'm having issues with my heating,I can't top up with credit,I've tried to contact my support worker about this on several occasions,I'm still waiting for a response from her,the support worker I had before this one was totally different, she was alot better, sadly she had to leave :-( ...

£1250 a month out your povket or housing benefit for a rat infested property with absolutely no heating. They call it rent + service charges yet there isnt much a service. Cleaners dont clean communal hallway, maintenance take weeks to fit issues. If your struggling for accommodation then AVOID at all costs.

In not asking for sympathy want to know if humbercare are failing anymore families like this So iv being with humbercare on Beverly Road. for 2 year Both house that I have/are so poor. My first house was to small not even classed as a 3 bedroom property. The 2nd child room had a boiler in that leaked. The fire place had damp and mould coming through. Cooker wouldn't work properly. 3td floor bedroom went into loft. That was a fire safety issue due to not having a door. So humber care moved me to the second house I'm in now. Environmental health was involved. So the second house. 6 windows don't open at all. They have now being open After a year and 4 months of asking. Heating not worked right since we moved in. so new boiler was add with a new radiator in kitchen has there was never one. This Still does not work right. Conservatory leaks when it rains. (Always). The work men was told to ducktape the cracks by repairers manager of humbercare. She was on loud speaker. Bathroom shower not working right. We don't get hot water, we can't use the bath has this has cracks in due to the shower head falling off the wall as no wall plugs where used to fit this. 2 lots of my floor board have gone through. Up stairs. These have only just being replaced with ply board. I can't used my washing machine or dishwasher because the the waste pipes that the water goes through to out in the drain has fell off the wall plugs so this floods my kitchen, now this has caused damp and mould. Due to this rising damp and mould in the kitchen it's spread to the other cupboards witch it's effecting other items e.g. pots, cutlery, paper work, plus so much more. This is all because of my sink leaking. 4 cupboard door keep falling off and 2 kitchen drawers need replacing. The back garden not even finished off for my children to play in. The patio step move away and lift off because the garden maintenance men did a sloop instead of going to the edge. And instead of going boxing it in. We don't even have a door in the kitchen to my living making down stairs cold. This Is a current 3 bed property but it's class has a 2 bed due to box room being so small it's under 15 and half foot. Environmental health have being in involved 3 time and still are. In not asking for sympathy want to know if humbercare are failing anymore families like this.
