   Whilst visiting the area for a short stay, my partner and I decided to get a very spontaneous, matching, birthday tattoo. Pete was extremely helpful and welcoming, as were the other staff in the shop. Thanks Pete for giving us a little reminder of our stay, marking our 10 year anniversary :)

   Quality artwork. Super clean studio. Started on time and made you feel at ease. Friendly staff and a great experience throughout. Extremely happy with the quality of the tattoo. Mostly freehand, bright colours, very fine lines and lovely shading and hurt a lot less than I thought! (not my first tattoo) Have booked another sitting already.

   Went to Big Pete for a cover up, had been told elsewhere it would be difficult to cover as lots of thick black lines and colours. But Pete has made my old tattoo disappear under the new one, amazing work.Talked through the kind of thing I wanted, he's come up with a fantastic design. Was really welcoming and made the whole experience a pleasure. Couldn't be happier, will definitely be back for more.

   I spent a while trying to get a mutual appointment date due to popularity of this establishment.Finally did and saw Dean who was lovely but have to say most painful tattoo (ongoing for almost a week) I ever had which isn’t in prime pain position! And my first was on my foot!!! Had high hopes but sadly won’t go back due to this- feels like a scalded , stiff leg. Lovely people in a joint well respected earthy appreciative establishment I have purchased from for many years so could be different individually.Probs just me but have to be honest
