Booked oaks lake first time there the anglers and staff were very helpful not sure of his name but the brekky I had was 10/10 will defo be back again few barbell was nice too the fish are in perfect condition the whole lake even got a hook check wich is a good thing keep up the cracking work lads be back soon
Such a wonderful place to spend the day fishing. Dax & Chris are so lovely and helped out our two boys who are both novices at fishing. Would highly recommend this place to both new and experienced fisher people alike!
Third time at wold farm today. Have now fished all three lakes oak,moat and island. The fish are stunning and in fantastic condition the people at the fisheries are so helpful and u can learn alot from some of the bailiffs. Will defo be back for a forth time. Thanks guys for a fantastic day again.
I absolutely love this place. Ever since my Uncle, Andy, recommended me and my dad to visit last year I have looked forward to every visit. It's a beautiful area, plenty of fish to catch, the fishing rules are fair and make for a better experience. The staff are lovely, and my dad have become good friends with them.
My husband and I turned up for the first time a couple of weekends ago and firstly we was surprised about the gate you go through to get in here, we then pulled up and signed in where we were given a net and landing mat to use. I was just along for ride and peace and quiet to read my book but the couple that run this place are really lovely, we got chatting whilst they made us our lovely breakfast and coffee. I learnt very quickly I was gonna be my husband goffa lol, I was sent in to get something for him from the tackle shop where Tosh helped me get what I needed, he then followed me out where he then helped my husband and showed him how to use the new pole he had recently brought. By the end of the day we had 2 filled stomachs with some very lovely and very good sized meals and my husband caught over 30 fish, I even ended up helping with landing his fish. We both had a very enjoyable day and highly recommend this place. They look after their business, the people that use the lakes and most importantly the fish to a very high standard. My son has been since and enjoyed it too and we are back next weekend with our son and his girlfriend. Thanks for making us feel so welcome
One of the very few places were you can catch genuine crucians. Beautiful looking perfect condition bar's of gold. Very cheap day ticket nice looking grounds. Safe parking also breakfasts on site.
Had a lovely day yesterday on the islands lake, caught a lovely mixed bag of tench, barbell, commons and mirrors, goldfish, roach, orfe , ghost and koi carp. This really is a superb well run fishery, everyone is super friendly and helpful, it’s fast becoming my favourite place.
Beautiful fishery, with immaculate swims and wonderful features.. Good quality fish and well stocked for a good days fishing. Friendly staff with a damn tasty fry up too.
Absolute gem of a place lovely blokes up there Matt was very welcoming and helpful The air gun range is fantastic.. But they best part is the hft course one of the best I've shot on cracking venue definitely worth the drive up.. And will be back in the near future
