   If only I could give zero stars then I would. Will be leaving them as soon as penalty period is over. Extortionate fees and also charging me pension fees for services which they have not provided. Tell them you don't want an annual review and they will still take 1% of your pot !! Ridiculous !! If you have any sense you will go somewhere else not tied into St James Place.

   My husband asked for advise about what the best thing was to do with his pension.The staffs response was negative stating they were not interested in small pensions, so couldn’t help. However there is a more professional way to cascade this information and not be rude as though my husband was beneath them. One they know nothing about our situation and two small business is what has made companies like this successful.

Gail has always been welcoming and professional, and her advice has supported us make decisions for our future. I regularly recommend Gail and her team, and they do not disappoint!

   I asked for advise about what the best thing to do with my pensions with possible scope of starting a separate private pension...Gail’s respond she is not interested in small pension so can’t help me!!! Must be very nice to be able to pick your jobs! When turning down custom choose your words wisely in future as how you put declines across can really damage

   Such a poor experience with Gail Spavin in Scunthorpe. Went for some advice into Buy to Let mortgages and booked an appointment this week; all well and good. Only then to receive numerous phone calls from one of her administrators into many of my personal details and then for her to cancel saying I would be better off going elsewhere... Firstly, how rude and unprofessional. Secondly, without an in-depth discussion as to my needs and mortgage requirements how can you determine I would be better off going elsewhere. Very unimpressed with the service and professionalism of Gail Spavin and I believe the attitude towards business acquisition and retention needs work. This is not to say others may have had a positive experience with Gail Spavin but I, however, have not and would not recommend her to others. Very disappointing.
