I will start this review with 'I'm actually blown away'. Trust me this is not with regards to their workmanship but towards how ignorant a company could be. I personally live in Blackpool and my elderly mother lives on a residential assisted living block adjacent to the repair shop. My mum had been going on for quite a while about having a respray on her little car that she's owned for many years and treasures. A chap called Dave who I'm assuming is the owner If not the manager followed me around the car and assured me that he would look after the vehicle and not overcharge my mother. On this premise and the fact that he was next door to my mother's address, I agreed to leave him the key. He said he would look at it over the next couple of days and call me with a quote. The problem is that she lives in the middle of nowhere and there are no local stores for even basic groceries like milk and bread. She called me on Saturday over the bank holiday quite upset because she was out of essentials. Basically he has had the key for nearly 3 weeks and I've not heard a thing from him so this morning I called them this morning and requested that they returned my mother's key and explained the situation to the receptionist. They have had the bare face cheek to return the key to the office which I requested but not even called me to at least apologise and explain for the delay ! Maybe a clear warning sign for future customers that they are not professional in terms of communication which will definitely lead to frustration from the trusting party involved.
Scratches were recommended to me on the basis that they are fair on price and carry out repairs to a very high standard. I can now say that after carrying out my repair the recommendation was totally correct. I would add that I found them very friendly and helpful. The most important part to me was the estimate was exactly what I paid, there were no added extras. I will not hesitate to use scratches in the future, should I need them and have no hesitation in giving my seal of approval and recommendation.

Fantastic repair of rust around tailgate and delamination on roof of i20. Looks like new. Very professional and pleasant to deal with. Sarah very helpful and friendly over the phone and Dave obviously very good at restoring paintwork. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs paintwork done on their car
Damaged the rear door with a major dent and scratch. Was quoted a very reasonable price in relation to two other bodyshops in the stea. Was a third of the price. Very friendly efficient and a perfect job . As a partially disabled driver delivered my car to my home for me at no extra charge. Well done to Dave and his team and comes highly recommended
Amazing company - my car was badly dented and scratches on two doors and underneath. Was quoted £1000+ by other places and got it done here for less than £700 with an amazing finish - can’t even tell the dents or scratches were ever there. All the staff are super friendly and flexible, really cannot recommend enough. Will (although hopefully not need to!) use again
Really pleased I found Scratches. Extremely friendly welcome. Quick estimate and excellent value. Work was done within the time predicted. My car now looks in great condition. If I ever need any bodywork done on my car in future, Scratches is the first place I will go.
Very good prices which saved me a lot over a previous quote. There was a very slight flaw in the repair although I used to carry out paintwork inspections on Jaguars so, to be fair; many wouldn't have probably noticed it. Would use again for sure.
Scratches have just done a right pain of a bumper job on my partner's car in under 3 days and done a fantastic job it looks better than the un-damaged side! It wouldve been easier for them to have ordered and fitted a new bumper for the damage I'd done but they told me they'd try and repair it to get it done for us in our short turnaround time & they stuck to their word! Dave and his team were just so approachable, reasonable, professional and understanding & I'd 100% recommend to others and go back there again should we (hopefully not) require their services!
