We have been with Charter Veterinary Surgeons Congleton for many years, this will be our third time now with our new puppy Rudy (Rudyard) a red Staffie. Charter Veterinary Surgeons are very experienced, knowledgeable & compassionat both to pets & owners. We would recommend them & garentee Charters of Congleton. I brought Kalli in for her vaccination, her vet Tom was very gentle with her. She didn't seem to mind at all, so thank you for that.
I’ve been with charter since I rescued my dog and I was with them for my cat, they’re fabulous and so accommodating, having worked as a trainer in a rescue they always go the extra mile to help my spicy doggo out, and do everything they can to make the appointment as stress free as possible, all the staff are lovely and very transparent about everything
When I had to say Goodbye to my beautiful 13 year old dog recently the vet and the nurse exemplified compassion and understanding. They were lovely. We had first class treatment a few weeks later when we brought our new puppy to be checked. The vet who saw him was absolutely lovely and a credit to her profession.
Had to use this vets as there were no vets available at our usual practice which is the Biddulph branch of Charters . The service was great but the wait was long , well after our appointment time . Quite expensive .
As other complaints below this vets ARE only bothered about the payments and money, I have been completely messed around and acted like it was my fault and just demanding money in-between even when I had covid and poorly still mythering me . Also my puppy had a swollen tummy from the get go and one vet said they are concerned next vet said there not. Said one week for results i phoned update hadn't even started the process took two weeks sadly then he got more ill and they never asked how is he at any point. Then I received the the results they didn't tell me the problem just demanded payment they only damaged payment without explaining properly. and blamed me for being abroad the vets are miserable. I only asked to cut his nails and she flicked her eyes and seen it as a problem to go and collect some clippers. Please find a caring vets and who are bothered about the health and care of your animal
A relaxed and friendly service offering the personal touch, ie. the vets/nurses are friendly and when appropriate, offer quick pertinent advice as well as formal consultations, which can be cost effective for minor ailments. The premises are very disjointed with an operating facility on the opposite side of the road to the main surgery. There is a little off-street parking in what is a minor but at times busy narrow road.
Phoned during lockdown, was not made aware of charges by reception before hand and charged £37 for 90seconds on the phone with the vet. Not taken my complaint seriously, basically calling me a liar, saying I was told,they are only interested in money not their customers! After 20 years I will be taking my business elsewhere!
