   The village fete and classic car show was on 02 September 2023 and was one of the better fetes I've attended. The competitions for vegetable growing, cake and preserve making and photography drew very high standards. There were entertainments for the children and a brass band. Being blessed with good weather it was a good afternoon out. Many thanks to the organisers.

   Attended to umpire a junior cricket match. No designated room for cricket officials, however we used the main hall to change. Decent amount of parking and adequate facilities. No bar or provision of tea/coffee which was a missed revenue opportunity as the opposition had travelled from Norfolk. The pitch played ok but was very worn. Disappointing that girls cricket gets a poor pitch when there were lots of others possible.
