   I had 2 custom rings made for my wife and I. Not only was the price very reasonable but the quality of the rings and their engravings are fantastic. He created exactly what we were after and went above and beyond our expectations. We are both so happy with them and cannot thank them enough for something that we will wear for the rest of our lives.

   David recently made me some earrings for my wedding and I couldn’t of been happier with them My mum had a couple of rings of high sentimental value and I had wanted some pearl earrings for my wedding day. We went to Spencer the Jeweller’s to get some advice and inquire about making some earrings involving both rings and purchasing pearls to go with them. The whole process was easy and seamless. We were able to choose the size of pearl and have input on the layout of the diamonds and sapphires for the earrings. Overall we couldn’t be happier with the finished look. These earrings have such high sentimental value and David really made something so special. Thank you so much! Lucy xx

   Amazing, absolutely amazing. It was a great leap of faith to select a jeweller off the Internet and trust them to make something so unique and special. I could not have found anyone better. So professional, friendly and caring. My wedding ring was too tight, my engagement rung had worn through, my eternity ring had lost a stone and my husband had never worn his wedding ring since breaking his finger. I came up with the idea of combining all of these into one special ring. I had an idea for a design which represented two of my favourite things, mountain peaks and the surf breaking on the seashore. David took this idea and interpreted it perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble and, no matter how busy the shop was, he and Angela always gave us time. The ring was so reasonably priced too, much less than I'd anticipated. My husband and I loved the design so much that he had a modified version made too. Cannot recommend these talented people enough.

   In the past few months we have had a number of repairs and resize done. We also cleared out some scrap gold for which we were given a good price. Finally we have had a pair of rings made for our anniversary. What a wonderful experience. So glad I used a local independent Jeweler. The rings were exactly as discussed. Fitted perfectly first time and we also had them engraved. The engraving was traditional scribing done by hand not lazer etched. All of the Staff in the shop were friendly and knowledgeable. No pushy sales like in jewellery chains. We will certainly use them again.

   am sorry to say I would not recommend. After taking a ring to be turned from gold into silver setting and adjusted. What I received was nothing like we discussed or photos we had shared. I have now had to take to another jeweller who has fixed the issue by starting again. So have had to pay twice. Our original discussions were based on picture and a budget of £200 and received a £80 ring nothing like what I wanted. So have now had ring redone by someone very talented for £172. The ring was so important to me as my late mother bought me the opal and wanted it made for nieces 18th. I have emailed Spencer and said to bring ring back and they will fix. I choose not this option as how could they fix something when was done so badly to start with. So I would not recommend and think that with how badly done was offered no form of compensation. Really awful service and hate putting negative review but if had been handled better wouldn’t have needed to .

   The jewellers expanded my wedding band, engagement ring and other ring. So very pleased with the result the service was great the rings were expanded and re coated and cleaned they look like new. A few months ago they also fitted a new clasp to my watch great job too. Would highly recommend them very professional service thank you
