We didn't use their facilities, we parked in a layby and walked in the "back entrance" and walked between the river and lake. It was very peaceful. Every so often there was a wooden animal sculpture. A few wooden bridges crossing the lakes gave it such a nice feeling. We stuck to the lake area but there is a brilliant play area for the kids. We didn't visit the shop area so can't really comment on that area.

A brilliant small country park, perfect for children. My wife and I, along with our toddler, visited for the first time mid-week for an autumn adventure and had a lovely day. The car park isn’t lined, making it easy to park, leaving plenty of room. The park itself isn’t very big, so it doesn’t take long to walk around; however, walkers do have the option to walk out of the park and into Oundle. The trails within the park are fun, with lots of wooden structures dotted around. Most importantly, the play area is excellent. The 360-degree rotating excavator was a personal favourite! There is a zip line, good-sized climbing frames, swings, including a duo swing, slides, a few water play pieces, and a separate toddler play area by the café. We had an amazing day and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Lovely walks around the lakes, very peaceful. Duck feed was 50p a bag and they came rushing for it which was lovely. Great for dogs and kids. Nice cafe with great selection of sweet and savoury treats.

Great country park with playground area for children, cafe, observatory and a lot of places for picnic. £3.50 for the car park for whole day. There is a fishing available too. Lovely park for families and dog walkers.

Great for families, plenty of play area and picnic benches scattered around. Quite pretty around the lake. Not a very long walk if you're a fast walker, walked the long route in 30 minutes.

Lovely clean park, nice walks, great play areas for kids. Had a cuppa and a slice in the cafe, friendly staff. Fishing is also allowed (complete form and hand in the money by the visitors centre) Mobility scooters to hire too if required. Thankyou. We will be back! X

Bit small to warrent the £3.20 parking fee, pretty to visit if it's on your doorstep or passing but not big enough to travel far to
