   We are so thankful to Lizzy for creating such a beautiful backdrop to our wedding. Although we had some idea about flowers and a colour scheme we wanted, we really drew on Lizzy’s extensive knowledge and expertise to help us choose what we wanted. Her vision for the day was beautiful, timeless and elegant and exactly what we wanted. From the gorgeous bridal bouquet, beautiful rose stems for the bridesmaids and buttonholes for the bridal party and immediate family, simply elegant bud vases and candles for the table decor, candle set up for the ceremony and the most visually stunning hanging plank to frame the whole event, which was transformed by glitter balls into a statement piece for the evening, Lizzy truly helped make our day just perfect. From the moment we shared our first ideas, through the whole process, Lizzy was friendly, creative and professional. We knew on the day she had everything in hand and were able to truly relax and enjoy our wedding day. The flowers were so special, quite a few of our guests (ourselves included) took them home too afterwards.    It took us a long time to find our florist, however as soon as we found Lizzy, we knew her style was perfect for the look of our wedding. Lizzy exceeded our expectations and we have to thank her for the patience she showed towards us while we figured out what we wanted. We have had so many compliments on the flowers of our wedding day. We went for whites and neutral tones with a tiny pop of deeper neutrals, we went for lots of movement in our bouquets. For the ceremony, we really liked the idea of a 'meadow' theme and Lizzy did exactly that! We were both blown away by the flowers from the moment we walked down the aisle.

   Our experience with Lizzy @ The Flower Story was nothing short of magical! From the moment we had our first call with Lizzy, we knew she would be the perfect match for our wedding. Her warm and friendly approach immediately put us at ease, and we felt confident that she understood our vision for the big day. She even went through the effort of making us a mood board and it hit the mark perfectly. Working with Lizzy was an absolute delight. She not only listened to our ideas but also provided valuable suggestions that perfectly complemented our vision. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the floral arrangements were so perfect on the day - Lizzy and the team took care of everything from the bouquet, to buttonholes, garlands for the dinner tables and ceremony as well as the most magical floating flower cloud I'd ever seen. The team also helped with rearrangements from the ceremony to the reception so we could make the most of our flowers and minimise waste which had been super important to us. Lizzy and her team are true artists and a wonderful bunch to collaborate with. Thanks again for everything!

   Using The Flower Story for our wedding flowers was such a lovely experience from start to finish. Lizzie perfectly visualised and created something I struggled to articulate, and I couldn’t have been happier with how they came out. I had so many compliments on the arrangements and the beautiful elegant colour palette, and the brief of ‘wild but not too wild’ was perfectly pitched. We had a couple of meetings where we ran through everything step by step, and Lizzie showed me photos, flowers and ideas to help create the perfect palette. We were able to reuse these for a family lunch the next day and they were all still blooming beautifully. Lizzie also worked really closely with my cake supplier to ensure that the flowers ran through the day as a consistent theme. Thank you again Lizzie for being a lovely part of our special day x
