Pretty park but staff said they couldn't do anything about a baby pigeon dying in the middle of the park :(
The Aviary opened at 10:30 so we had a chance to walk around the park. Meerkats and other birds are on show. A good way to spend 45 minutes in a Sunday morning.
Took my great niece to a craft morning at the centre. It was fantastic and guy holding it was brilliant. Saw the meerkats whilst waiting
A lovely aviary/animal enclosure. I loved the meerkats and the talking parrots. There were also a tortoise and porcupines that were inside at the time of visiting and one enclosure that said something new was coming soon.

Brilliant since it reopened in early 2022 - now porcupines and meerkats as well as the birds. Feeding time seems to be 11am.

Such a shame, its run down completely. Had happy memories as a child. The aviaries need to come down now, the place tidied up with new planting which could brighten it up.
Caught a fish and my best mate jason pulled a polish and spent the day in his bivvy.
