Popped in to have a look and was quite shocked at the prices of items, I did think to myself wow I bet they really struggle to shift things, on my way out I noticed an elderly chap bringing in a large bag of donations. The member of staff scoffed and said well what is it ? The elderly chap said it was handbags mainly so the lady replied okay we will take them but we aren’t supposed to be taking things at the moment. If the items wasn’t so pricey you’d have a higher turn over of items, more funds coming in and you’ll be able to take more donations. I’ve always loved coming to sue ryder charity shop but the prices are just silly on some items.

Have donated to this charity for many years but no longer. Arrived with a large amount of donations asked for a trolley to move bags and crates from my car, told it was company policy not to give people who donate a trolley and was not offered a trolley with a member of staff to help unload as with previous donations. Then my wife was told it would be easier if we left them in the bags and crates at no time were we offered any help to unload our bags and crates. I have handed my gift aid card in to them I will never donate to them again . I went today with a the Barnardos charity shop a nice member of staff brought out a trolley helped load it and then unloaded it. They and other deserving charity will get my support. But Sue Ryder unfortunately will not

Wouldn’t buy an electrical items from here as they sell them without all the parts and broken/faulty no labels to warn of this and when called they offer no solutions to this problem absolutely disgusting service

It used to be a really interesting place to wander around but now seems to have a lot less stuff to look at (a sign of the times maybe ?)

One of the best charity shops in Scunthorpe. However it needs setting out better so people can get round
