I really wanted to post about this florist in Barton (after seeing a review which wasn't that nice) I have used this flower shop a number of times and i can honestly say i've never had a problem, always been more than happy with the service and whatever floral requests i have asked for.
Terrible experience - went in earlier today wanting a bouquet for a birthday gift, something a bit special, tasteful, a bit more thought than supermarket flowers and what I got I was so disappointing. When I’ve bought flowers from florists before they’ve put the bouquet together in front of me - allowing me to choose flowers I like and making suggestions for what goes with what - I was the only person in the shop and the lady who served me didn’t move from the till. I asked her for pinks/purples/whites with no carnations and expected something eye catching and well presented/modern/ a bit of flare, what I got was honestly the worst bouquet I’ve ever seen. The lady asked if I wouldn’t mind paying first and leaving while she made up the bouquet which I did - and in hindsight I shouldn’t, the flowers she put together weren’t uniform in height half the bouquet had v short stems and half v long, she included carnations, despite me asking her not to and half the bouquet was gypsophila for £25 it was shockingly bad - I wasn’t after lots of flowers - a small quantity, arranged tastefully - these came in only cheap clear cellophane with an 80s pale pink bow.. will not be stopping by again - such a shame, we need a quality modern florist in Barton!
Asked for a boquet to be delivered to my neighbour for her 8?th just before Christmas. It was beautiful. My neighbour even remarked how much longer they lasted than some other flowers she received. Great!
