   I've had a piercing at Kathmandu previously in 2020 and all was fine - wasn't best pleased about the use of externally threaded jewellery as it does hurt more when going through the fresh piercing channel, or the use of "rock salt and warm, boiled water" as aftercare (I prefer Neilmed's Wound Wash Spray as it's sterile and less wastage) but the guy who pierced me was pleasant and had a great manner. Went in today to enquire about a walk-in appointment - the guy on the downstairs desk was very cheerful and helpful. I made my way upstairs and asked about getting internally threaded jewellery as I was planning on a pair of piercings. The woman responded, "We ONLY use externally threaded jewellery", and the tone in which this was said made me feel like this was quite a silly request to make. I only went in as this is something I've been thinking about for a while, but to get them today was a very last minute decision, and my normal place is closed on Mondays - the piercings I wanted also cost £25 more at Kathmandu (£65 for the pair), and regrettably, I simply don't feel the prices charged are reflected in the quality of jewellery, and on this occasion, the customer service received.

   Great and welcoming staff, definitely recommend this place to get piercings! No need for appointment you just come in and get it done , the wait is not long at all!! Apart from piercings it’s a gorgeous shop with lots of fascinating merchandise !!
