   Prestige Point, Liverpool (Truestays) – An absolute disgrace! This was our first ever Airbnb stay, two couples celebrating an anniversary and it wasn’t the rain that dampened our trip to Liverpool, it was Truestays. The apartment looked great on pictures, decorated nicely, but the reality was shockingly neglected and falsely advertised. • Kitchen had THREE mugs, THREE forks, THREE knives, THREE spoons. Four adults could not sit down for a single meal or coffee together without washing up mid-bite. Kitchen walls had old food splashes and stains. • Bedroom lamps had missing lampshades – just bare glaring bulbs. • The sofa was completely broken: Frame collapsed, wooden slats on the floor. Very dangerous and our complaint to truestays was ignored. • “Free parking” was the biggest con. No permit provided despite being advertised. Truestays told us to either risk fines and they would “have them cancelled” or walk 30 minutes to a multi-storey carpark… We booked this apartment for the private parking. We now have two £100 parking tickets that four weeks later, are still not cancelled despite endless “we’re dealing with it” messages. We had to seek assistance from Airbnb, in which they had to refund us £200 because Truestays are simply incompetent to help and the fines needed paying. • The front-door coded lock was infuriating – Confusing instructions, took up to 10 minutes every single time we got in or out. Their only “compensation”? A late check out and a pathetic 10% off voucher for a future stay.. As if we’d ever give them another penny and frankly an insult to our complaints. Truestays communication was poor, zero ownership, zero respect for their guests, full of empty promises. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!

   Had a fabulous week staying in Nursery House, Stoke. House was cosy and warm, carpet in living room could do with replacing because it was very marked, kitchen tap was loose and also the toilet seat but these can easily be rectified by host (I did inform them at the time) the only downside was the lack of hanging space for clothes although there are lots of drawers to use, I used the clothes airer to hang stuff up. The kitchen is very well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Chairs in living room were suitable enough for a week long stay, overall it suited my purpose and I really enjoyed my time there visiting family. Would definitely stay here again in future

   We had a perfect experience staying in this house for a month while a close relative was in hospital at the Royal Stoke. It's a 10min walk to the hospital, 5mins to amenities in Hartshill and surprisingly short walk to Newcastle too. Truestays were great hosts, responding quickly to pictures of minor maintenance issues and sent someone round to fix them immediately. We only flagged them for deposit reasons but they were quickly put right. Definitely recommend. House was comfortable, modern, great shower and a nice quiet area.

   Truestays will always be my second home in UK, happy to say this because i and my family had a great time staying in two of Truestays properties for 7 weeks in Stoke Stanfordshire. Family of seven, we felt at home, the staffs I spoke with during our stay were so patient and polite, thanks to VREN for all the supports rendered you made our stay successful. All thanks to Mr. OLLIE WHITEHOUSE for your acceptance to grant us a Reference letter to enable us rent a house in UK, your reference was a topnotch and it was successful, we have moved into our own house.    Booked 9 properties across Stoke and Rugeley whilst working in the area for 3 weeks. Vren and Ollie were wonderful to deal with, easy to book through and very responsive especially when there were some minor issues in some of the houses. The houses themselves were immaculate, brilliantly furnished, spacious and had all the mod cons you could ask for. Will look to book with TrueStays again in the future if working in the area again!
