Alton towers skyride or known to many as the cable carts that have been around for many years or had been disused for a while but now back in operation. These are perfect for giving a sky view that overlooks one of my favourite places in the resort to visit, the gardens and it's historical and well maintained scenic areas of the park. They are also a convenient way to travel from the different areas of the park. There is 3 sky ride stations altogether one on towers street close to the main entrance, this one in the forbidden valley and also one in dark forest area.

A bit bumpy and kept swinging but still a quick and fun ride. Very convenient as queue was small so could quickly get from one side of the park to another.

Cool views with some narration to help you learn a little about the park. Line might be long but it sure does save quite a bit of walking time.

Queue for this did not move an inch for at least 45 mins quicker to walk through the gardens.

Absolutely horrrible. My family went on it, and as soo as we were about 100 meters in the air the ride stopped. After 10 minutes my brother vomited, we called the line but nobody picked up- my sister had a severe panic attack saying “I DONT WANNA DIEE” and she wasn’t breathing straight. When the ride eventually started back up we got off at the nearest station. The staff were extremely rude and didn’t even care about my brother, he just wanted us to get off the ride. I mean we did get another free day and a few stuffies- still probably put me of gondolas for the rest of my life.

Very nice views. Slow but that's expected for this ride. You can see the castle and the towers and the garden from this! There is usually a que but it depends on the staff if they fill each ride with it's max people. Not good for people with heights as theres large glass windows but you can just stare down if that's the case because the floor is just metal.

Awesome views with a slow casual ride across the roof of the gardens, can sometimes be a little busy if people are trying to get to a certain ride, best to assess the que to see if it would be faster to walk. Usually takes about 20 minutes at a fast pace to walk across the park. They do stop the ride for wheelchair access and strollers.
