   Had many sessions with John spending a considerable amount of money (thousands). I hadn’t had a session for over 12 months due to being on medication. When I came to ask for my deposit back (£100), he stated that technically our work wasn’t finished so he wasn’t going to return it. Really poor considering the money spent and no need for it.

   katie was absolutely fantastic this was such an amazing experience for my 2nd tattoo, it was abit of an awkward position but katie made me feel nothing but comfortable and was so accommodating, and she is absolutely someone i will be going back to, her talent is incredible and for her to be an apprentice is amazing!! could NOT recommend anyone else higher, thank you so much katie

   *****AMAZING***** After doing a lot of research looking for the right tattoo artist, I was told about John and his attention to detail so got onto social media to find out more. WOW When people say oh go here or go there you tend to take it with a pinch of salt. All I can say is I’m so glad I waited. Booked in with John whilst we were away, sent some ideas over and agreed time and date. Turned up for the appointment this morning. We were welcomed into the studio which was spotless and such a relaxed environment. We were offered drinks whilst discussing sizing, position and also future work on a previous tattoo. The wife was up first for her first tattoo. John’s attention to detail is amazing the skill that this guy has is unbelievable. The wife was that impressed with her new ink, whilst I was in the chair she was looking for her next piece having a good old chat with Angela. Once I was finished in the chair John went through all the aftercare with us both and what we should and shouldn’t do. Overall great experience, great price and more importantly a GREAT tattoo. Thanks again John you will be seeing us again.

   Had two tattoos here in recent weeks, one with John and one with Angela. The studio is chilled out but very professional, you can engage in all manner of random chat or sit in silence with no awkwardness. The music is eclectic and most importantly the standard of tattooing is excellent, coming to Skinsmiths got me excited about tattoos again. Cannot recommend highly enough!
