Gleaming Services have been servicing our linens for over a year now and it's been nothing short of a pleasure. Their prices are very fair and the quality of their work is exceptional. The linen always comes back on time, clean and well packed. Their staff are polite and always willing to help. Cheap, but certainly not cheerful! The drivers are great a pleasure to deal with, but the owners could not care less! I have been using them every week sometimes upto 3 times a week all year as I am constantly booked. The laundry gets lost, then missing for weeks. It comes back with stains and they say they have treated them and the stains won't come out, yet I treat them and the stains go, so back they go for washing and guess what! They disappear and you get someone else's laundry! I was missing almost a complete changeover of linen for weeks until they located it. I own my linen so they just launder it, that is until they send an email saying from 1st February there will be a minimum was charge of 45 plus vat, so instead of sending it 3 times a week I save it up so that I meet the minimum wash charge. I happened to mention this to the driver who fed it back to Jenny the owner who called me and explained that new machines meant minimum loads as they could not mix customers washing, so understanding that I offered to drop a Wednesday collection even though they came to another business only two mins walk away. She them went on to try and pressure me into renting there laundry, but I had not long purchased mine so I explained that was not something I would be doing in the near future. So we sent a large amount on Monday for washing and expected it to be back Wednesday as usual but no not there! I called to enquire where it was and Jenny then said she interpreted that we had stopped Wednesdays I reminded ger that we had stopped collecting Wednesday because of the minimum washing charge, but mot delivering back what had been already sent especially as on a Wednesday they are 2 minutes away dropping off linen. Jenny became argumentativ ,hostile, defensive and could not care less about the 5 years I had been there customer, week in, week out! Promptly paying.. so I have left and found multiple other laundry services in the area all wanting my business! Well done Jenny & James for customer retention! NOT!
