“Stopped in the grab a quick bite to eat and a coffee, the gentleman behind the counter was very nice and polite, brilliant service. Had a ham and cheese toastie which really hit the spot and a large coffee, very reasonable pricing too! Stylish and chill interior and atmosphere. Would recommend!!”
“Excellent service and fresh meat always, definitely would recommend to all families”
“Fan-bloody-tastic.... Walked in to a happy smile from Jay and ordered the big breakfast (after I was shown the options and allowed to swap an item) Asked to take a seat and had a big old mug of coffee(not one of them pathetic timble size cups)brought to me . Next came the perfectly cook breakfast. it had good ingredients and was hot. Each table has some sort of reading material on it and the radio quietly playing in background. WHAT A LITTLE GEM THIS PLACE IS”
“What a great pub with lots of atmosphere right next to the cathedral. Great interior decor. I dived in here during a heavy shower and was welcomed by friendly staff. Good selection of beer. I wasn't hungry but looked at the menus and was tempted.”
“One of the best restaurants i have been to. Starting with the service, Anthony was lovely and very attentive and the food was by far 5stars. Delicious and fresh. Definitely will be returning”
“Food was absolutely delicious and served my food quickly. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Recommend it to anyone wanting to have good chinese food.”
“I stay here a few times a year for work and the staff are always extremely helpful and professional. The rooms are a decent size and have a good desk for working. The beds are comfortable although there was some low-level noise from other rooms. The location is good, with restaurants all around and a Sainsbury's Local around the corner. Being close to a main nightlife area, the location is busy through to the late evening and is well lit. Breakfast is fine and there is a chef station for cooked-to-order eggs. It's a 20-min walk to New Street Station with some sharp but short upward inclines on the way to the hotel. Alternatively there is a metro/tram stop nearby on Broad Street with a direct frequent service to the station.”
“I booked the Sushi Master Class for my daughter’s 14th birthday. Wilma was our teacher and she made the experience 10/10. She was funny, informative and made sure we were all looked after and had a great time. We learned so much, had lots of fun and made some great dishes to eat or take away. Well worth the money, great experience and fantastic gift for friends and family.”
“Thank you to Sian she is an amazing hairstylist! This is the second time she has cut my hair, and I loved both the result and the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Supercuts—I absolutely loved it.”
“I had a fantastic experience at Domino’s Central! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The service was quick and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared perfectly and delivered fresh. The manager was professional and ensured that everything ran smoothly, creating a great atmosphere for customers. The food quality was outstanding—hot, fresh, and packed with flavor! The pizzas were perfectly baked with generous toppings, and the sides were just as delicious. Every bite was a delight, and I truly appreciate the consistency in taste and quality. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommended!”
“Food was great, service very friendly and the decor is lovely, what a fab community cafe”
“So sorry to hear that you are closing, but more importantly that Mo is not well. Wishing you all the best, always had a great service.”
“This little Greek restaurant may be difficult to find as it's situated within the food hall on the ground floor of Selfridges. The wife and I had a very enjoyable meal here coupled with friendly and efficient service. Hard to fault. Update: Until today's visit, whilst the food was OK sadly the service was a bit of a shambles. Apparently two staff didn't turn up. However I have never had a problem here before and the manager apologised profusely and made a generous gesture. Things can go wrong and I have to give them credit for how they tried to put it right. We'll be back.”

“On arrival were greeted by the reception who checked all our details, & then gave us clear instructions on how to get to our room. During the check in process we were also told where breakfast would be served in the morning & times. The room was spotless & quiet. We were on the 6th floor, absolutely no problems with getting a lift to the room or ground floor. The only negative thing is that we arrived by train at Birmingham Grand Central (New Street Station) & if you have suitcases then it's a bit of a trek & would be better get a cab than walk. As we only had hand luggage then this was not a problem & took us no more than 8 minites. If you got a cab then you would be there in 3 minutes. Good location & close to China Town. Would definitely stop here again.”
“Back around 2009 when I was studying in Birmingham, Abby School was still open. We used to eat there often—great food at low prices! This time when I returned to the UK, I made a special trip to eat there again. The decor has changed, but the taste remains the same! Absolutely fantastic! The owner is still very friendly too! I really hope it stays open for many years to come.”
“City Tax Accountants are amazing in providing professional accounting services. They handled my investigation in an efficient manner, and they really put me at ease, especially since they won my case. I would recommend them to everyone.”
“Great food, delivery lighting quick. I just wish next time when I order Carbonara I will actually get Carbonara, not Bolognese..”
“My son mason has for 14 years received the best possible care that anyone apart from his family could give here at 71 Ludlow rd”
“Don't understand the low reviews, I got a large box with 3 spring rolls and a drink, cost me £11. Very nice food, fresh and not overcooked. Service was extremely fast, often at Chopstix the reason it takes so long for other to get food is because they can't decide on what to get. Great little place with some banging East Asian cuisine as a services off the M42.”
“This trip was an unforgettable journey through the heart of Spain’s Islamic heritage, a testament to the unparalleled achievements of a civilisation that once led the world in knowledge, art, and innovation. I was struck by the intricate beauty and grandeur of Alhambra, Alcázar, and the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba. I realised how much of this incredible legacy has been hidden or overshadowed and obscured over time, due to jealousy or for religious and political agendas. It struck right at the core of my heart, how little I truly understood the profound impact Muslims had on shaping the modern world. Learning about the tragic fate of the Moriscos, who endured unimaginable persecution yet remained steadfast in their faith to Allah, left me deeply moved and humbled by their unwavering devotion. This eye-opening and jaw-dropping experience was enriched especially by the wisdom of our knowledgeable guides, brother Tariq and Ustaz Adnan. It is a poignant reminder of how much we Muslims know about our own history and the responsibility we carry to honour and share this legacy with the current and future generations. May Allah reward them both for their effort and unwavering devotion. Take this tour, spread the word and join in the struggle to keep Islamic history alive.”
“Well all I can say is perfection. I've had the pleasure of tasting the amazing pizzas before our wedding which took place last Friday so I knew how delicious they were. When we started planning our wedding I knew exactly who we wanted to serve throughout the evening of our wedding. From start to finish Eliar was super focused, always available to speak to and discuss anything and totally worked around us on the day and on delivery of the van etc to our venue. I can honestly say I've had that many compliments about how gorgeous the pizzas were and how lovely and friendly you guys were. Know one had to wait around for a slice and was so relaxed just exactly how we wanted it to be. I cant wait to see you guys again and 1 million percent recommend Cofton Pizza for any event or go see them wherever they may be. You made our day so special and won't ever forget it. Fifi and Haydn xxxx”
“I have wanted my lips done for so long but always stopped myself because of the fear of the procedure, and then finally the amazing Natalie gave me the courage to get them done, she made me feel at ease and was very professional, I am so happy that I did!! I have been back twice to have more and they look amazing! I can walk around now knowing I have lips to show off and not hide behind lip liner and lip stick. I would highly recommend booking in with Natalie!!!”
“What a find! Excellent friendly service from Sam and Jodie who take time to understand your style and what you really want and allow you time to make your choices with no pressure. A good selection of fashion garments to choose from, alongside classic pieces that will last through the seasons and beyond. I always enjoy my time here and it’s a real treat to get away from it all and relax for an hour or so while trying beautiful clothes and chatting over a coffee.”
“I felt really comfortable and despite my nerves Aalya was friendly and put me at ease straight away. She was really quick and totally understood what I needed and made recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to go to her again, and would definitely recommend anyone to go.”
