“Stopped by one afternoon for an ice cream and drink, we sat outside the restaurant which was pleasant. Friendly staff and the service was great, one of the staff members was kind enough to offer my friend a glass of water while she waited for me to finish(was a very hot day).”

“This place is honestly worth going to, it is not too pricey. It is the perfect place to go for brunch, lunch, dessert or to grab a drink. Menu: They have a variety of breakfast and brunch options. Although they have lunch options, whilst the lasagna (second picture) was delicious I would rather go there for desert as there are so many desert options. Food & Drinks: The food is delicious and are great portion sizes. I ate every last bite and would totally recommend at least trying a lunch meal. The drink (first picture) was lovely and so was the strawberry milkshake (third picture), you have to try this! Bathroom: Only one toilet but it was clean, had good lighting with a big mirror if you wanted to take a selfie ;) They also have a flower wall (which can be found in background in third picture) this would be perfect for selfies! Service: The service is excellent, we were served by a gentleman named Zunaid (sorry if misspelled) he was able to describe the dishes on the menu perfectly. We also got our meals within 15-20 minutes of ordering which was great. Parking: Unfortunately there is no parking in front of this place so you would have to park on side streets which was not a problem. Overall, I would definitely recommend going here as the food is delicious and the service was excellent!”

Alright Spud have definitely filled the gap in the area providing fantastic food at brilliant prices. Not only is the food of great quality, the service you receive is exceptional every time. “Came across this hidden gem quite unexpectedly whilst house hunting in Bearwood accompanied with my aunt and brother. Not strictly speaking a restaurant but more a cafe/eatery. Weather was nice so we sat out front and it felt like al fresco dining in your favourite uncle's garden. Our lunches were yummy and freshly prepared. The service and meals were homely. “Oh my! What a gem! We go to Greece once a year and were very excited to find this family run restaurant and what a joy it was! The food was simply stunning! They only serve Greek wine (as they should) and let you try it before purchasing a glass or bottle so you know you will like it which is unusual but absolutely brilliant. The halloumi was just perfect and I loved the Greek potatoes and tzatziki! All the meats were really great as well. Oh and the cherry port at the end was truly a cherry on top :) Could not fault a thing. The atmosphere is just lovely. Felt like a night in Greece. “Spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. We loved the menu, but as they were closing soon, we opted for sandwiches and a pot of tea. I had jerk chicken and rocket sandwich. It was really nice and spicy, with a generous filling. My partner had a cheese and ham toastie, which he said was excellent. Quality ingredients at decent prices. We'll be back over the weekend.”

“We had a lovely prosecco afternoon tea Tuesday for my birthday which my friend brought me. The ladies were very friendly, we couldn't eat all our lovely cakes so brought them back in a box. The food was very nice and fresh lots of choice. We will definately be visiting again to try more on the menu. Thank you”

“The menu board had a small sign saying vegan and vegetarian available so I asked for a vegetarian breakfast, expecting a standard breakfast minus bacon and sausage which is fine to be honest but what I actually got was a freshly cooked breakfast with vegetarian sausage and veggie burger instead of meat. It was lovely too. I was starving and couldn't eat it all. Absolutely bang on.”
