“My first time at Howdy! The steaks, the vibes and everything is overall phenomenally good. The “Lamb Sizzler” is so juicy, tasty and good to eat with good temperature, perfection and fresh. The atmosphere is good. Easy to talk while it is quiet to dine-in. The tables and seatings are always cleaned and easy to sit and relax. The service, the staff and everything is definitely good. Fresh and relaxing music too. Prices are good. Definitely and highly recommend Howdy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Little gem in Calverley. The Little Coffee House has a cosy atmosphere with friendly and kind hosts. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast. The scrambled eggs were perfect - fluffy and delicious. They were melting in my mouth. Smoked salmon excellent complimented eggs with light saltiness and smokiness. My latte was creamy and smooth. It's definitely a place to return and try other items from the menu. Thank you!”

“Absolutely fantastic, I was heading somewhere else, but called in this place for a menu as I like pizzas , well !!! I've never had such a welcoming, such a happy chappy that made me feel at home straight away , he soon explained everything to me about the pizzas the showed me to the SPECIALS board , the food and the host was perfect so he convinced me to stay , and I must say I was very glad I did , without this young man at the front of this shop I would of left , all I can say he's a real credit to who ever owns this business, this chap called josh will go extremely far in the hospitality world ,, thank you”

“I highly recommend John and his team. They have now done my kitchen and 2 bedrooms. They are all absolutely fantastic. John’s attention to detail when planning my rooms has been excellent. Then also Richard’s attention to detail and superb workmanship when installing is second to none. I am extremely pleased with all my rooms. My kitchen deserves particular mention because it’s such a beautiful space now and also so fabulous to use with lots of worktop and loads of cupboard space. The kitchen installation from gutting the old one, to rewiring, replumbing and fitting was like clockwork.”

“There are not many Japanese restaurants in Leeds. Feed is one of the good Sushi restaurants in Leeds. Besides Sushi, the crispy Tempura is a good choice. Free street parking.”

“I moved to Pudsey about a year ago, and this was my first time trying The Bearded Sailor. I have to say, everything was top-tier quality , from the lightning-fast and friendly service (even when busy) to the lovely, tender, perfectly battered fish and the flavoursome homemade tartar and curry sauces. Everything about this chippy oozes quality. Easily the best in the surrounding area, if not all of Leeds.”

“Top quality BBQ food. Great pizza, great burgers, great kebabs, and the chicken tenders are some of the best. I just wish they didn't use UberEats...it ruins their food every time I've gone for delivery, so will only order when I can collect now.”

“A small but perfectly formed restaurant. Due to its size its a very personal experience, the lady who took our order then went to the kitchen to work some magic. “Really great cafe, serving freshly made food to a very high standard. The bakery part is so good, the vegan pastries are brilliant, the vegan pain au chocolat worth travelling for alone. The coffee is great too. Its always busy, but they service is really quick, highly recommend”

“Absolutely delicious food and cosy atmosphere!! I've eaten here about 5-6 times over the past 2 years and each and every time the food has been faultless. People who know me know I wouldn't say that if I didn't mean it. I went last night as I heard they'd had a menu change and it did not disappoint. We had the Peppered Chicken and Chicken Parmesan, both served with an abundance of yummy side dishes (fries, roast new potatoes, dressed salad and seasonal vegetables). The warm cookie dessert is amazing. I could eat it just on its own with a lovely coffee (which they also do) i.e without the sauce or ice cream. It's everything you want in a cookie. Crunchy on the outside and gooey in the middle. They've had all their chairs reupholstered recently so it's looking a lot smarter than before making the vibe extra cosy. If you're planning a visit, make sure you book not to be disappointed as it does get very busy for food. Great selection of drinks too. 10/10”

“Just a last minute decision to go out, and saw this place As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed and the staff were so attentive. Great choice of dishes to suit all tastes. The food is freshly cooked and served hot in stainless steel puts with lids to keep them warm. They do not serve alcohol, but I can recommend the mango lassie, great flavour. All in all a pleasant experience, and we would go again.”

“We have used this take away every few weeks for over 20 years and have always been very happy with the quality of the food, though some times the food is exceptionally fresh tasting but it never drop below very good. Then it appears there has been a change of ownership and there was a wobble! We had a take-away about 6 weeks ago, and the portion size was smaller, the food was a bit bland and they failed to cook all the dishes we ordered and even argued they had only changed us for the dishes we had. This was not true! So a third trip to the shop and we were refunded the cost of the dish they failed to cook but said they had not charged us for! Not a great introduction. Anyway, this week we gave them a second chance and they excelled, sort of! The food was once again fresh and tasty though the chicken satay and the Szechuan beef could have done with being a bit spicier! The duck was cooked to perfection as were the prawns Everything else with the food was fine. A decent portion, well cooked and presented. But the big negative: why not be honest with your wait times? They do themselves more harm by not being honest with wait times. Telling someone it will be 20 mins when it will be at least 40 mins is not helpful! We had to go back twice as our meal was not ready the first time when we arrived at the time they said it would be ready! I don't think they would lose business by telling the truth about how long it will take to cook. I think they will lose business by giving people unrealistic expectations of when their order will be ready!”

“Cooked to perfection ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very polite and professional team members taking the orders. The food was unreal, by far the best spicy donner I’ve had. You can taste the quality of the food and the experience of the chefs in every bite. I went for the mixed donner which was unreal. I ordered there watermelon mocktail, which i highly recommend you try also. Would definitely recommend you try Woodys.”

“It was Friday teatime and the pub was packed. The customers were really nice and healpful to us, being strangers. They had two real ales on, both of which were spot on. We could happily stayed for a session but had a booking elsewhere.”

Great staff, great atmosphere and fab drinks menu...you'll have to go in about 2 and fall weeks due to refurbishment and from what's been said, the pub will be totally upgraded and made even better!
