“When I started ballet as a 40 year old adult I assumed I would find a class in which we would just have a bit of fun and not really learn much and not be challenged. How wrong I was. At Brighton Ballet School vocational students and adults are treated the same. We are challenged to work hard, to push ourselves, to find the best of ourselves and to never accept the words "I can't". Taking exams is an wonderful added extra which allows us to see how far we have come in our dancing. And as well as all this - we also have fun and make new friends. If you just want to muck around for an hour then I'd suggest other places. But if you wish to have fun, get fit and strong and unleash your inner ballet dancer then this school is for you.”

“My daughter has been learning with Sjaan for about 8 years. She lives Sjaans approach to dance and the inclusivity of the school. Although they take the exams seriously they also have a lot of fun.”

“I love dancing hear it's very good”
“I've been to many different classes in the UK and other countries, and this one's hands down in the top of my list. Kornelia creates a magical atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Every choreography is like a mini performance rather than a number of movements; they are challenging, but are broken down into small pieces; self expression is super encouraged, there is no 3-4-5 counting - Kornelia teaches how to listen to the music and feel it. Her choreos help tell a story and create a certain vibe depending on the song. I had never felt so confident, feminine, and not afraid to make a mistake in any other class before.”

“Gemma is a great teacher! There is a huge variety of people that attend the class, all different ages & levels of talent & she caters for all of us! I'm always learning new techniques & steps, that help me improve as a dancer. Each week you become more flexible by doing the simple stretches & and energetic routine. She always say's "If you can't do it, it doesn't matter as long as your enjoying yourself" & I definitely am :D”

“I’ve been part of Turning Pointe School of Dance for over a year now, taking adult tap classes—and I absolutely love it! I hadn’t done tap since I was a child, but the friendly and supportive atmosphere made it easy to jump back in. Lianne is a fantastic teacher who adapts her style to suit each student’s needs, making every class fun, encouraging, and accessible. I’m so glad I joined! Whether you’re returning to dance, starting fresh, or just looking for a fun way to connect with others, I couldn’t recommend Turning Pointe more.”
“My daughter is really enjoying her time here and she's always saying how fun it is!”

“I have been dancing with Rachel for a number of years now and I can highly recommend her classes. I am in the Tuesday intermediate tap class which is a lot of fun and inclusive, and no one is left behind (which is good for me as I never thought I would be able to tap dance).”
