“Absolutely incredible experience at Manju’s. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The food is some of the best vegetarian cuisine I’ve ever had, every dish packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and served with genuine warmth. You can tell everything is made with love and tradition. The setting is cosy and intimate, and the personalised service made it feel extra special. A true gem in Brighton, book ahead and don’t miss it!”

Food was absolutely amazing, kids portions were very generous, lasagne was also incredible and the service was prompt and all staff were very polite and attentive. “Came to Brighton for a day trip. Was recommended this restaurant by a family member who had been before. Nice cosy old-school vibes. It was a sunny, warm summers day, so we sat outside. There was a range of dishes, but we went for the £27 for 2 course summer set menu, as it seemed a good value for money. I ordered raw rock oysters as starter. Got 3 fresh oysters which were fresh and juicy. Came nice and cold, with the mignonette and ponzu dressing. Delicious! Another person on the table ordered salt and pepper calamari and even though portion was small, with 3 large pieces of calamari, the taste was amazing and it was so fresh. The fish and chips were crispy and fish was flaky. Though again, could do with a few more chips. Tartare sauce was great! The mussels marinieres was exceptional. The sauce was extra creamy and goes well with chips. For the price of the set menu, its great value for money! Would highly recommend! There was bread that came to the table with delicious mackerel pate. But you will need to pay for a cover charge for this. Drinks menu was extensive. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend. Women’s toilet was up some narrow stairs at the top of the building.”

“Yo Sushi has always been a treat for me, as the sushi is better than store-bought and in general I love the vibe of the restaurant and service. I have been several times and have never been disappointed! The food is delicious and the service is very quick and kind, my server Matty was helpful and really made eating here comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely be back for more!”

“Came here for the first time on Saturday for their bottomless brunch deal for £25, great price for starters. Had a choice of 3 dishes off the menu, we also ordered more alongside as we felt they might be a little small.... Well.. the portions were bigger then expected definitly enough for 1 between 2 poss 3 all cooked amazingly not one bad dish and OMG their summer spritz white sangri is the nicest drink iv had in a long time, try if you can. Staff were great and so atenttative too would highly recommend and can't wait to come back 10/10 from me”

“Almost Decided to visit a reasonably new venue. It was quite quiet the night we visited (friday) The menu is quite short but most were things I would be delighted to eat. We decided to have different courses to spread the experience. The Amuse bouche was a wonderful summer Gazpacho. Starters were squid (mine) and prawns (friend). Both really nice dishes, the squid for me was my meal highlight. Quite liked my lamb rump but personally not a fan of the minestrone veg. My panna cotta was superb. Front of house was really nice, didn't get much contact with chef. It was a lovely meal, great food almost there. Word of caution Steps down to toilets are very steep and not deep, a bit of a challenge for the less mobile. Non alcoholic cocktails were a little weak for my taste.”

“A wonderful experience, I visited with a group of 5 (myself included) and the worker allowed us to push together the tables and was super helpful and accommodating! We ordered three pizzas and all three were delicious. Everything was homemade which was extremely impressive, and the atmosphere was very calm, and pleasant. 10/10 customer service, and 10/10 food!! I recommend visiting or ordering here if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, and a relaxing atmosphere with wonderful customer service!”

“We walked into the Riverside, a place with lots of shops and eating places init and we chanced upon Bubble and Bao. We went for the pork buns, chicken tonkatsu, chicken teriyaki Bao bun and what looked like Salmon sushi roll. Oooommmmgggg. So good, pork broth was tasty but could have done with a bit more depth but after seasoning up with some chilli crunch and Soy sauce and ginger it was delicious and with the kombu it was really an interesting flavour. The rest was just amazing. Sushi is prepared after you order it and I'm pretty sure the pork buns were made out of delicious Clouds. I'm so going to try and get back there for the grilled Eel and anything else I can next week.”

“We went here for our anniversary dinner, wonderful food and service! We had the duck and lamb, both very tender and juicy. For starters we had the duck roll and scallops, I normally don’t enjoy seafood which I always find “fishy” but I loved the scallop, complemented by the sauce/puree that goes with it. For dessert we had the mango cheesecake, not the most impressive but not bad and would overall recommend this place !”

“Over the years we have had so many amazing meals inside and take-aways at home. We went recently with a friend who was visiting and again, as always had an exceptional meal. Mal’s dishes have so much flavour, are cooked perfectly every time and the menu offers a great range of flavours that is always changing. “Stunning Italian food! I've often remarked that after eating in Italy the British counterpart bares very little resemblance and thus I stopped eating Italian food in the UK, until now! Perfectly cooked food, fantastic ingredients with a modern twist and it seems that Brighton agrees as it is often booked up at least week in advance. The ambiance is fantastic too, with seating on high stools around the bar, so you can often see what fellow diners are noshing on and get inspiration, if not for that visit, then the next. On my last visit I had a pea, broad bean and feta bruchetta, then for main course rabbit and pancetta, forgive me as I can't remember the exact names. If you enjoy Italian food, and let's face it who doesn't, do yourself a huge favour and book as soon as you can. Can not recommend enough!”
