“A very nice place for evening dinning. Dogs friendly and very nice garden open space for gathering. Staffs are very friendly and good service. Small car park at the back and a very good location after Seven sisters park visit for refreshments or dinning.”
“The Font is one of my favourite spots. The atmosphere is always chilled and welcoming, and the staff are brilliant. Harvey especially is an absolute star. He’s always friendly, on the ball and just makes the whole experience better. You can tell he really cares about what he does. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Great drinks, good people, and top service.”
“Popped in for impromptu lunch and chat with a mate. Warm, jolly welcome. Beer (Long Man) very pleasant and nicely kept. Food was excellent (I had the gammon, egg and chips - nice piece of meat, plenty of it and very tasty, my friend had a burger). Both very happy with the food, service and ambiance. Decamped outside for a smoke, to the large, covered seating area (with booths and heaters); we were so comfy we stayed outside for the rest of our visit. In all we stayed about 4-5 hours.”
“Great for showing sports on multiple screens and a game of "toad in the hole". Very friendly atmosphere..”
“Had a carvery today and it was excellent. Piping hot food, delicious and the service was great. All the staff are lovely and parking was super easy. Will definitely be back!”
“Excellent roast dinner. One of the best I have had. Sticky toffee pudding was 10/10 too. Old transitional pub decor with a real fire. Enjoyed my afternoon here”
“We had our sons first birthday at the kings head on a busy Saturday 1pm for 20 people and a few kids, they were so accommodating and went out their way to make the party perfect. All staff were super helpful and welcoming and Ollie was great. Really recommend this cosy pub for a party or just for drinks.”
“Best beer Garden in Brighton!! - The Hobgoblin is a staple of Brighton life. It's a fantastic pub that's been around for so many years it feels like it's a part of Brighton's heritage. The Beer Garden at the back of the pub is exceptional, extremely Large, fully covered (for those raining drinking sessions) and, in my humble opinion, very well laid out. The staff are always friendly and professional and the pub always partakes in festivities and seasonal events. Drinks prices are average and they often have live music. It's a cornerstone of pub culture and I cannot fault them on anything. Their food is awesome too. well-priced and good quality. If you are visiting Brighton, make time to have a pint at the Hobgoblin. You won't be dissapointed :)”
“Just celebrated my daughter's 18th at the Prince Albert St restaurant and have to give a special shout-out to the lovely Hannah, our Server for the evening, who really went above and beyond to make our meal as enjoyable as possible. From the moment she greeted us at the door, she was all smiles, helpful manner and was happy to chat with me about tattoos!! She even arranged for one of our meals to be repackaged into take-away containers when one of our party had to leave early unexpectedly. Food was great - and even the manager (sorry didn't catch his name) popped over to have a chat with us about the footie match that night (!!) - plus of course to see how our evening was going! A really friendly atmosphere and truly great service. Recommend!”
“Friday Saturdays are amazing filled with laughter karaoke and much more worth the visit !! Especially the pub mascots Jamie and Rodger !!”
“Just been to Weatherspoons at the Marina Brighton. I have to say I was very shocked at how absolutely lovely the whole place was, it's situated over 2 floors with plenty of seating and bars on both floors. It is situated right next to the Marina so you have lovely views of the marina from both floors. Also what impressed me was how very clean and tidy it was, with lovely decor with lots of wood features. large solid wooden staircase. We ordered our food and drink using the Weatherspoons app, which made it so easy. (You can also order at the bar) Our drinks arrived after 5mins and our food took another 5mins. we thought it would have took longer as they were very busy, The food arrived hot and tasted lovely. Great service from the staff. We had 3 main courses. 3 side dishes. 4 beers. 3 desserts it came to just under £20 each which is very good considering when we were last in Brighton we ate in a pub and just had one solitary burger which cost us £13.50 and a beer was £7 and we left hungry. So we'll done Weatherspoons. O and not forgetting the free 4 hour parking which is a massive bonus. Many Thanks guys”
