“The food was authentic and very tasty. The fried platter was crispy and flavourful, with the right amount of spices that complemented the vegetarian toast made from sweet potatoes. The pan-fried beef noodle had great “wok hay” and tasted amazing. The deep-fried sweet and sour beef was crispy, and the sauce had a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. For dessert, the toffee banana brought out the naturally sweet taste of the fruit, and when paired with the sweet toffee and ice cream, it created a delightful harmony of hot and cold sensations.”

“Authentic Thai food, cocktails are very very good, beautiful to look at and taste amazing, and fantastic pricing. Seabass and tom yum soup were my favourite, fresh and full of flavour. Was a very busy lunch today with 20 Korean film crews ahead of us, but the manageress was apologetic, and it wasn't that long of a wait to be honest at the end. Overall, a great dining experience with great food, excellent drinks and above standard service, highly recommended.”

“I have tried most well established Indian restaurants in the UK and this is the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited in the UK. The dishes which were exciting were mutton chukka, dosai varieties, butter milk and coffee. Must try these dishes when you visit. When you ask for coffee, please ask for strong one if you are a fan of kumbakonam coffee drinker (if you don't get one, again request to make it strong like I did). However, the chilli parrota, fish curry and fish fry were average taste. In curd vada the vada needs to be socked to taste even better. The ambience was really great with Tamil songs. Try to book a table of you visiting over a weekend or bank holidays.”

“Yet another amazing takeaway from Castle. Yes, you do pay slightly more than another local option but the quality is FAR better than anything around. We order from these guys all the time and we're never disappointed, and food is always delivered really fast and piping hot. Particularly recommend the Kung Po Chicken and the Teriyaki Chicken!”

“We had an absolutely brilliant meal here. The service was incredibly helpful and attentive with all aspects of the menu. We had 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 rice and 1 naan and left very satisfied and full. All was cooked very well and the flavours were delicious. There was a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, all labelled on the menu, and the staff were very helpful with any questions we had about the cooking of the dishes. Couldn't recommend more for a lovely meal!”

“As a hgv driver travelling all over the country Thursday is treat day. Parked on Shoreham docks for the night it's quicker to walk to Chippy chips in Hove than to a fish and chip shop in Shoreham. And well worth the walk it was. Fish is cooked to order (large cod and chips) so a 10 minute wait to have my tea on the seafront all worthwhile. One of the best fish and chips I've had in my life. Great guys who run the place, yes you'll turn up and think oh could do with a lick of paint on the outside but don't let that put you off. Go in, order and go sit on/by the beach (weather permitting) and enjoy. 100% will be back.”

“Kamal is our favourite curry place. We don't order from anywhere else now because it is always disappointing! If we fancy curry on a Tuesday when they are shut we either bite the bullet and cook or get a completely different cuisine! Totally recommend them!”

The service is always warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is great both inside and out, with elevated views of the beach, the Steyne, and Brighton in the distance, which makes it especially nice in the summer. “Popped in last night out of the blue as fancied a Thai, Nicely greeted and shown to a table, after a few mins we were asked for a drinks order, drinks arrived in good time, we ordered a starter to share and our main course, the starter was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing, the main courses was also mouth watering, the desserts were absolutely amazing too, to be honest we weren’t expecting the experience we had, a real gem of a restaurant both in service and quality of food, the pricing was very good. 10/10 to this restaurant, we will be back. “The food quality and flavours continue to be First Class. My personal dish of King Prawn Pathia was out of this world. The prawns were so large it made the dish almost surreal. The spices were also truly delicious. Ali was serving us. He was knowledgeable and engaging, also ensuring that we were satisfied with our meal. The quality is definitely a stand out, in my opinion. I would highly recommend.”
