“I have been to Lazy Monkey about 4 times now and each time has surpassed my expectations. I have been here alone, with my other half and with our two children and have enjoyed each experience as much as the last. The food is absolutely top quality for flavour, even the naan is mouth watering. The portions are perfect and every mouthful is delicious. The cocktails are superb. Fresh, flavoursome and well priced. The staff are always polite, friendly and professional and make you feel welcome every single time. The venue itself has a lovely, warm vibe and you instantly feel relaxed and the music always pleases. We may not get here as often as we would like but we enjoy every visit and always leave with good memories and wanting to come back.”

“Ate here tonight and initially seated near a very loud group of women. We asked to be moved and were quickly accommodated further away (and followed by another couple also moving away). The loud group were soon asked by the waiting staff to moderate their volume (some of the language being unpleasant), which was done very politely and professionally. The group eventually decided to leave which meant the atmosphere improved considerably. It was a delicate situation for the staff which was admirably handled. Meanwhile- we ordered our food and wine- lovely meals- a great choice on the menu, large portions, very tasty and fresh. The wine was beautiful. A great place for a delicious meal with excellent staff. We will return.”

“Birthday celebration dinner. Amazing pub. Loved the ambiance, busy with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious with great menu choice. I had sea bass, cooked to perfection with lots of veg and hasselback potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Prawn cocktail was really good. Portion sizes just right. Only one of us disappointed, no steak and ale pie. Service was excellent. All food reasonably priced. We'll definitely visit again. Would strongly recommend going here.”

“Delighted to go the Old Mill for lunch with friends. The welcome was as always warm and friendly. Our waitress was Lois who attended to us so well being friendly and very helpful. She paid do much attention to us and always had a smile on her face. The meal was as usual delicious and well presented. I love the Old Mill for its great menu and friendly atmosphere. “A must when in Coventry! We loved everything about this place - from the homemade ginger beer to the mango salsa to the fall off the bone beef! Bonus - all the meats are halal! Would definitely come here again! Would highly recommend the Big Mac combo! Best Caribbean food I have ever tried! A shout out to Carol for being so attentive - she made the experience even more special by checking in on us and letting us take some of the mango salsa home x”

“10 of us turned up Monday night for meal and drinks…… we were welcomed and well looked after. Kerry served us- she was amazing. Despite being busy, she made time to interact with our grandchildren which they loved. Food was great too! Well done guys :-)”

“Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice. Overall very good experience”

“Beautiful food, great value, service impeccable and not intrusive (we all know how constant interruptions can distract from a great meal). Not local to the area, up visiting for a show, so decided to have something different. Fancied Malaysian as I'd stopped off there on holiday once. Starters arrived promptly, presentation was lovely, flavours fantastic. We ordered mains and didn't have to wait too long, a selection of mains, as they all sounded too good to miss, every item was beautiful. So good we ordered extras to takeaway!”

“Went for lunch with my 4 year old son. The soft play was small but my son loved it. The food was served quick and was tasty. They have a Costa coffee station, they offer unlimited refills for this. The soft pay was £3.00 for 1hr 30mins. They have 7 sets of tables in the soft pay room, your able to eat and drink in this room when your kids a playing. Lovely place..”

“Once you place your order at this chip shop it is definitely recommended that you stand outside because the shop is very very small but if you’re to order a small chips it will feed a family of five if you were to order a large chips it would probably be enough to Read 10 miles there but sausage is great. They used to do battered pigs in blankets but they got rid of them maybe they weren’t selling so much so they took that initiative and removed them from the menu which I agree with not gonna argue something is not something right take it off the menu But apart from that yeah definitely would recommend”
