“Great experience using Q Cars for our airport runs. We needed a 7 seater for 7 people with 7 cases and hand luggage. We had a spacious people carrier. The driver Paul was great. On time, chatty, no issues. We pre-booked a return pick up too, which was perfect with a delayed flight as we knew Q Cars would still arrive when we landed. Sam booked our holiday for the second year in succession, she found an excellent hotel, warned us that the was building work going on next door, sorted out transfers to and from the airport and generally looked after us. The staff generally are excellent but I would like to mention Paul who runs the currency exchange. He makes a point of finding the best rates and is a really friendly helpful person.”

The staff here are second to none and will always take the time to help you out.... even when they could do without it due to Cycling exploding since COVID. Without doubt the best bike service and sales in the city. On a separate note and in ref to the review from Robert Lewis, what type of clown uses a bike and expects to take it back when it’s not faulty. Especially after using it.”

“I had such a brilliant experience at Blue Banana! I went in for two new ear piercings and from start to finish the team were amazing. Leanne gave us such a warm welcome when we entered the shop and there was only a short wait. I loved that they texted me when it was my turn so I didn’t have to sit around clock-watching (we grabbed a coffee while waiting). Leanne also helped me get the right size bars for some of my other old piercings, which now fit and look so much better. Hannah did my piercings and was great, she double checked that I was happy with the placements before piercing, she was so quick when piercing, and she was just as excited as I was when I saw them in the mirror! Leanne also came over to have a look, which was so nice as you can tell the staff genuinely care and want you to be happy with the result. Couldn’t recommend them enough!”

“Went here with my dad before seeing the TWICE documentary and have also ordered from here on Just Eat before. Let me tell you it is the best food I have ever had in my entire life. The flavours are so authentic and the portion sizes are so generous so you never feel like you weren’t given enough. There is also an amazing variety of starters, mains and sides to choose from so you have a lot of options. We had the karage chicken and chicken gyoza for starters when we came here and it was heavenly. The mains were even better — teriyaki chicken breast bowl and katsu chicken. I mean it when I say it was the best food we’ve ever had. I could have devoured the entire menu. I have also had the teriyaki 6-piece wings before and they are also just out of this world. The atmosphere inside is also so warm and intimate, I really enjoyed how cosy it was. And for such delicious food, everything is so affordable!! If we had gone somewhere like Wagamamas, we probably would have paid in the range of £60-£100, but for everything we had it only came to £34!! Of course we tipped, because not only was the food amazing but the service too. The owner was so sweet, we talked to him a lot and learnt that it’s a family owned restaurant and can get very busy with both restaurant and takeout orders. I love supporting small businesses like this that really care about the food they make and their customers. Please, please check this place out even if you have never tried Japanese food before. It will be an unforgettable experience and you’ll definitely be coming back again. I know I will, I’m already planning when to make my next visit! “Went along recently to one of their running shoe try on events, New Balance in this case. I’d been thinking about buying a pair and when I saw the event advertised I signed up! On the night Anne Marie greeted us and made us feel really welcome. There was a rep from New Balance in attendance too with a a selection of different shoes to try. He engaged with everyone and was really helpful giving lots of information about the different shoe types. A group of about 20 of us (all different abilities and paces) then went for a nice 2.5 mile-ish loop from the shop to try the shoes. On our return we were treated to hot and cold drinks as well as pizza! My shoes were ordered and were available in a few working days. Fantastic service from a great local shop!”

“Beautiful experience.such comfy reclining seats with plenty of bum room. Went to watch a 3 hour film and was most comfortable. Plenty of food choices and drinks on site and in a complex where you can grab a meal from other providers next door. Staff were professional and everything was straightforward and easy to use.”

We had Finlay as our coach for the party and he was amazing and included younger sibling and was so encouraging. Really loved this as several children including my own have SEN needs and he worked fantastically with all children. All staff very polite and helpful. Great attitude with work and happy to help with anything needed or asked of. Food was great and drinks supplied/cake all brilliant. Really loved the experience today and will no doubt be back again!
