“This restaurant was AMAZING! I would highly recommend especially if you or anyone you know suffers with allergies. Myself and sister have severe anaphylaxis and struggle to find places to eat. The staff was caring and carful with our meals, ensured we knew how to navigate the allergy menu, and double checked everything. Ontop of this the food was divine. My sister had the BBQ ribs and loved it so much she ate the sauce with spoon. I had the meat feast pizza and wow was amazing. I recommend!”

“Thank you for a lovely evening Loxleys. We sat in a small room on the left hand side of the entrance. It was beautifully decorated. I was greeted with Happy Birthday wishes & received a card. As the night progressed two other couples arrived who were also celebrating birthdays. We had such a fun evening. The food was delicious. I had the carrot salad & truffle fries. My OH had steak which he enjoyed. Service was impeccable. Thank you Loxleys.”

“Very good food! I was shocked that the salad came in a separate box, I liked it a lot. Also, I was pleased with the fries as I don't like them most of the time in other places but these were good. The food was incredible, the setting and restaurant itself was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were really friendly and efficient. The portions were plenty and tasted amazing. Food and drinks came out so quick and everything is made fresh to order. There is plenty of on-site parking for anyone driving there. I recommend booking in advance as they tend to get booked up! It's in a really pretty setting, and I can imagine it to be even nicer in spring/summer with all the outdoor seating.”

“We went to Michael's for our first wedding anniversary and had a great time! The team were very friendly and polite, seating us outside initially but then offering us a table inside as it was set to get cold. There was a bit of a wait for service but nothing drastic (we were there about 2 hrs toral) and its worth it for the food. Best Mediterranean meal we've ever had! I had a chicken skewer and my wife had the halloumi stack - both were tender and bursting with flavour. Highly recommend!”

“Lovely meal, good selection of pub favourites alongside healthier options. There is outside wrap around seating with views of the canal and river where you can watch the world and boats go by. The only downside to sitting outside were patrons not controlling their dog's and the more inebriated customers bellowing to passers by which is why I've given the lower score for atmosphere.”

“Great cook and Great food and very good prices. Tastier than anywhere else and higher quality of ingredients. Their pizza here doesn't taste like rubber because they use better quality cheese for example. The prices are almost half of the other pizza places in Rugby. Also very sociable staff and very welcoming. Everyone should try this place and see for themselves”

“We had the most delicious meal for two at Amore Mio on Saturday 4th May. The food was deliciously tasty, well presented and served by a waiter who knew his food, was not over bearing but who was polite. Amore Mio is a little gem, hidden away with a great choice of starters, mains and desserts. We will definitely be returning here and would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant.”
